Here's this week's "stupid things coming out of Alonso's mouth"-

He said rookie and fellow teammate LH was "lucky" to win the Canadian Grand Prix and the podium finishers , including LH and Heidfeld are a result of the "safety car lottery". Finally, Alonso said, "It has been a difficult race but I prefer to be in my position that Kubica's." Alonso must have been busy during the race to think of stupid things to say that he didn't noticed Sato passing him. Congrats Alonso for making this week's "stupid things coming out of Alonso' mouth". Maybe next week you can invite your android commander to join the list.

Sour grapes? Alonso is all talk, no better than Sato. :D

No.......not sour grapes, but the green eyed monster I reckon!! He went to McLaren as the reigning champion, only to be out-driven by a rookie 22 yr old - imagine how you would feel !!

And now this!

From BBC Sport :
Asked if he felt some of the mechanics in the team celebrated Hamilton's successes more than his, Alonso said: "I have sensed it a little, but I understand it, it's an English team."

I see some green envy and pressure building on Alonso, poor guy...

And we've seen what happens when Alonzo feels under pressure... doesn't bode well for the rest of the season unless he gets his head sorted...

now he is right in a way, he isnt saying he would have won but he is saying lewis was lucky when he pitted on his scheduled lap compared to his where the pitlane was closed thus got him a stop go.
and to talk about the sato pass, who also passed kimi, it doesnt take a genius to understand the circumstances in why sato had the better pace at that stage of the race. tyres make all the difference and in a unhindered strategy fernando would have lapped sato by the time he had to use his soft set of tyres.

Agreed, Sato wouldn't have passed him unless he had some serious issues. Plus, Sato is a wild one, you can understand why Alonso backed off at the final chicane - otherwise, likely early bath I reckon. That shouldn't detract from Sato's great race though, did very well.

So bud, looks like your team are going to be pretty unstoppable unless Ferrari/BMW really get their act together - or Alonso throws a wobbler.

Alonso looked over confident in the race. He tried to even pass by his mate in the first corner itself which is not so good.

I'm surprised Nando is feeling the pressure like he is. He has stuck it out with the great Shumi on numerous occasions and come out best, so I'm really surprised. He is usually so cool.

The Spanish press you have to take with a bit of a pinch of salt. I wonder how much of that is actually Nando and how much is made up by the press. I'm sure Ron D wouldn't let him make statements like that. We all know what a tight ship Ron runs.

Having said that, yes, Nando did make a right pigs ear of that race on Sunday. I know the 10 second penalty wasn't his fault. That was stupid Max and the MaFIA. But all the other uncharacteristic OFFs were nobody's fault but his.

Did you notice Lewis's interviews. They were in complete contrast. He was full of praise for Nando.

Alonso should realise the reason behind the massive celebrations, not only is it Hamilton's first ever win, but it's because of all the hard graft Hamilton has been through ever since he approached Big Ron at the Autosports awards in 1994 when McLaren had just had their worst year for a long time, the nurturing process between McLaren and Hamilton has payed off. Alonso should do his homework.

This Lewis Hamilton has really gotten under his skin. Never seen Alonso make so many mistakes during a race. He just cant stand being second to a rookie team mate. This is clearly taking his focus off of driving and causing him to say some stupid things which Alonso is known to do.

Prost started getting political in 1988 when Senna was starting to outclass him with ease. By the 1989 San Marino GP Prost and Senna were no longer on speaking terms and Prost "wanted nothing to do with Senna". Surely this can't happen with Alonso and Hamilton? Only one place to find out at... the final chicane at Suzuka next year...

Alonso just had a bad race, maybe unlucky with the penalty but otherwise he messed it up all by himself. With comments like that he's not gonna win many new fans is he?

If he'd have done what LH did off the start line in Monaco instead of trying to get past straight away he could've got Mclaren another one two (and could've won himself). Thought he seemed a bit too eager to beat Hamilton there.

Guessed you two are the only two that watched the race. Just kidding boys. Take out the drive thru penalty, take out Sato having a better car or tires, do you really think HL was "lucky" to win the race and not Alonso?? Are you kidding me??? He can't even keep pace with Heidfeld in the beginning or throughout, he kept going of track, lost focus and have the nerve to say the podium winners are "lucky". If a driver lost, then he lost, don't make excuses about tires going bad or lack of downforce, its racing and anything can happen to anyone. You can have a perfect car and then on the next pit stop, its a different car, you still have to drive. I just hate it when someone make excuses why driver didn't win, its racing and you take your chances.
