Got my fingers crossed and hoping I will make it to Melbourne this year - can't wait to see the first corner after the lights go green - will the brakes be up to optimum working level? Will everyone become spacially aware of the new nosecones? Anyone ready to predict who will be the first 3 drivers to the chequered flag?

It is very tough to answer that question. I'd say:

1. Hamilton
2. Alonso
3. Vettel

Because notice how Alonso picked up at the ends of the season. So he finally got used to the car. Hence, my theory is that he will now be used to the car for the whole season. Vettel actually did well in the qualifying stages of last year's grand prix. Hopefully he won't be nervous, after crashing though. In a faster car, I'm really expecting big of Vettel.

Hamilton will win if he has pole. If he doesn't have pole. He'll get a DNF. I'm ruling out Ferraris because of the DNFs last year. But I could see Massa getting it. Sebastien Vettel will go really, really great next year. Like wow! Like he'll get a few wins. I'm hoping for maybe 3 wins?

Albert Park is similar to Monza... I guess??

I think the top eight will contain at least four German drivers, most likely Heidfeld, Vettel, Rosberg and Glock. And I reckon at least two of them will be on the podium.
