As far as I know yeah. But Red Bull won't be installing KERs until the second half of the season because of fears that the safety is quite up to notch.

Quite a smart move by Williams. At this stage it's better to gain tenths of a second through good handling and pace through corners rather than gaining them on the straights and then lose even more through the corners. Afterall, power isn't everything.

I've not been, but I've not heard great things about Fuji, mostly because of the crappy weather. This year the GP'll be at Suzuka again though, because they'll be alternating like Hockenheim and Nurburgring have been.

I think thats a releif. How about alternating: Suzuka for 10 years, Fuji for 1, Suzuka for 10.......

You get the idea.

Not long now till season 2009 begins.................................... Can't wait. Has anyone ever been to the Japanese Grand Prix? Was wondering how good it is from someone who has been there first hand. I take it isn't too far from Tokyo as it is near Mount Fuji and Mount Fuji isn't too far from Tokyo. Well I don't believe it is as I was in Tokyo last week and I could see Mount Fuji from there on a clear day. I don't know how deceiving that is though as Mount Fuji is quite big.......

Oh yeah I forgot. Sorry to sound dumb but where abouts in Japan is Suzuka? Not that it matters that much as from Tokyo a bullit train will get you there easily. By the time that race comes again I should be in Japan again and living there as well. :)

hehehehehehehehehehehe HAI.

Oh by the way, I can pronounce the sentance ok. No need for the brackets part. Reading Japanese in Romaji is too easy. Almost like Italian and Spanish except a few minor things like for example no rolled Rs. Too bad they don't use Romaji. :(

Oh drats, we have gone off topic as well. Oops my appologies to the others. :wavey:

I wasn't using one. I was saying stuff I already knew and am learning. Obviously Longbow probably was, but he was just being nice and polite.

I just had a thought. I'm thinking that the Australian GP this year is going to be pure chaos.

I'm sure we all remember last year. 6 cars actually finished the race. Mainly due to the heat and dusty track, causing multiple incidents, failures and safety cars. This year though, won't it be worse. Australia is in the middle of a heat wave, bush fires and so on. So the heat this year will be worse. A few teams have already reported probelms with KERS overheating, and thats in a mild climate. So we can expect some car failures. The track will again be dusty, so spins are likely. Plus, these are brand new cars. It will be the first time the cars are ever raced. Drivers won't be as prepared with the larger front wings, slick tyres, and the difference during overtaking. So again, we could see drivers getting too close and knocking front wings and, or we could see them messing up overtakes and causing crashes.

These are just m thoughts. We could have a perfectly boring race. But its fun to think that it could all start going off.
