Its only a matter of time, lets all be honest here. RBS is hardly in a stable state, and will most likely be pulling out of Williams soon enough. Who knows, Santander could even be next to go.
This will again leave F1 without a major sponsorship source, just like when tobacco sponsors pulled out. But again, F1 will survive, and I already have a good idea of where F1 could get sponsorship. Phone companies are making millions these days. If you check, the prices of phones have dropped big time lately, simply because the companies are making soo much money, that they can afford to price things that competitively. Its clearly an area of the market that's barely affected at all by the credit crunch. Theres already a few phone sponsors around like Vodafone. Its a hugely competitive market to, with new deals everywhere, trying to attract customers, so I'm sure most of them will gladly sponsor teams for the sake of more advertising. Its more than likely that we could see more companies move in with bigger deals.
