I can see the appeal of it.

Looks too Lamborghini Murcielago-esque for my liking... i like the other Corvettes and the Mustang much better.

And it being in Transformers may not mean much at all... all the Camaro was on transformers and it didn't help its cause....

Very nice that is.

It looks very 70s to me, and I mean that in a bad way.
Is this flamboyant styling the rage now? if so I'm not keeping up with trends.

That's not a concept. Its a one-built for the movie only based on a C6 Corvette. GM has gone on record saying the next C7 Vette will not be here after 2012 or 2013, it hasn't even been on the discussion table at GM as to even what the C7 should look like, GM is putting it on the back burner while they are trying to re-structure for the survival of of the company.

this car fits the term concept just fine

Concept is something they built with one purpose, for an international autoshow to gauge the public's respond wether to built it or not.

yeah youre right, the autoshow in this case is a movie and if it gets a good response it may well be put into production down the track. so again this car fits the term concept just fine :P

Ya you are right, so when are we expecting the Mach5 from SpeedRacer (2008) The Movie, X-Men car, The Lexus from Minority Report, anything from Steven Speilberg's AI, Chrysler ME Twelve that's featured in numerous movies, the new BatMobile, BatPod :D Like I said, GM has gone on record saying the next Vette hasn't even been discussed and most likely the C7 will not see the light of day for another 4 years. The Camaro was used in Transformer for one purpose only, GM paid a lot of money for the Camaro to be used so it can help launch the car. The only problem is GM is in the red right now, it has pushed back the launch of the Camaro until next summer (1yr from now), Cadillac XLR is put on hold until further notice, the Hummer is having a funeral along with the HHR, Saab is still on the auction block, GM has no new vehicles for 09/10 unless the Volt and the Camaro could be delivered as promised. So the question is where does the "concept" Vette stands, just like the Mach5, its a one-built purpose for a fantasy movie.

The Lexus from Minority report was a concept car. As was the Audi from I Robot. The Bat-mobile is not a concept . . . . although I wish it was
