Nelson Piquet in 1987. Only won it because Mansell injured his back at Suzuka and then went gassing off with slanderous comments about Mansell AND Senna.

Alan Jones

Why? He won five races (one non-championship), came second three times, and third twice. He beat Nelson Piquet by 13 points to win the first championship for Williams, becoming Australia's first World Champion since Brabham! Not worthy enough for you DD?

Mine would have to be Michael Schumacher following his actions during the 1994 Australian GP - knocking Hill out to win the championship.

Okay, I mixed them up - I meant Keke Rosberg. One win for a championship is not enough.

if a dirvers does what it takes to win the title i dont think you can be called unworthy unless you were dishonest in the way you went about it
