The plan is to visit Monza this year, can anyone recommend seats or areas for best viewing.

My current thought is the SECONDA VARIANTE (the second chicane) where the cars seem to ride the kerbs and bounce across the run off area.

Any other thoughts?

I could do with some info here too. Will general admission be sufficient ? as I've heard that there is some free seating. I'm prepared to pay around £200 - £250 for a ticket so some advice here would be great.

I am from Italy. I've been in monza many times to see F1 or to drive. If you need something please feel free to ask. Best place in my opinion is la Roggia.

Thanks for the info.

What about the general admin ticket ? Is it worth paying extra to reserve a seat or are they easily available anyway ?. And what about Kangaroo TV ?.

ps. I tried registering on the Planet F1 forum but was barred from joining because they didnt believe that my name is Mark Webber :banghead:

You need a seat somewhere. The alternative is to stand behind a fance & peer throught the mesh at the race but to manange even that you'd need to get there on Wednesday evening & chain yourself to your chosen position 'cos it will be gone by Thursday AM.

Does it have to be Monza?

Yes, it has to be Monza we're planning a trip to the lakes around it for a week long stay. Have you actually been to Monza ?.

Why not make your own decision as anywhere would be cool with me  . Checkout the official website http://www.monzanet.it/eng/default.aspx

Yes I have been to Monza. I suggest getting a seat, so you know you will see the GP. General entrance won't guarentee that, not by a long way.
