Hi all, new to the forum!

My daughter (13) is very keen on F1, and would like to go to the British GP next year as a birthday treat. Unfortunately, the tickets for the race day are way out of her budget for a birthday treat. I was wondering what we would see / experience on the Satuday? The F1 website isn't a lot of help on this one, so would appreciate input from someone who has been to ther Saturday event.

hi, you would get to see some practice and Qualifying. IMHO I have found getting a ticket for the pre-GP testing normally around 2 weeks before the GP is a better buy (Money to excitement) however that could just be me being a skinflint

There will be some support races on as well, but I can not remember what they are of the top of my head.

With Saturday you would enjoy the final 2 F1 Practice session as well as the Qualifying itself.
In terms of support, you would see the Gp2 feature race.
As well as this you would see the other support series, but more than likely qualifying themselves.

That's usually the norm for a Saturday.

It's a shame you don't see the BTCC support race at the British Grand Prix anymore, it was always after the Grand Prix and most people would be heading back to their cars to beat the jams at this time.

Erm Probably the Qualifying for the GP2's and practice sessions for the Porsches.
Qually for Formula BMW to if they run and practice for the Historic Sportscars.

That's usually the trend.
