Some people have a passion for racing which rules over their feelings for any particular team or driver. People who like the sport more than any single driver/team tend to be able to like all drivers and teams with no issue.

Allow me to try and explain ok? Ferrari has been in my soul since I was about 10yrs old after I saw one for the first time so that is why they are my numero uno team/manufacturer. I'm a huge Senna and Prost fan therein lay's my respect and like for McLaren.
