Then why so many strechered off the field only to get back on the pitch? Why so many flops?

I am sure AFL players do that too. It is called time wasting. Everyone does that when they are in front and in all sports. You know that is true as well.

How do you manage to ruin absolutely every bloody thread?!

Tell that to the person who said all the Italian teams will lose to all the English clubs in the up coming UCL games. He started it and provoked it. Look back, get your facts right and then talk.

:bs: It's called banter. I didn't have the intention to start an all out war...

It is one thing to be English and want the English clubs all to win, it is another to purposly pick on the Italians. Why I say this is because Liverpool play Real Madrid and Liverpool have a high probable chance to beat Real Madrid I would believe than the other 3 English clubs agaist the 3 Italian clubs. Why, because Liverpool at this stage is a lot better than Real Madrid in their current form. But you didn't mention this as it was not against an Italian club.

na if a player gets stretchered off in the AFL he is not allowed back on. for to be stretchered off means something serious has happened! i have seen numerous times in the EPL and in other world leagues where a player hardly gets touched, acts like he has had one of his testicles shoved up his arse, gets stretchered off then once off the field jumps to his feet raring and ready to go!

its no wonder Rugby Union and Aussie Rules supporters dont think much of Footballers who do this!
as MR T says in his snickers ad when the soccer player falls on the ground.... GET SOME NUTS

Look at the media and then wonder "Oh I'll pick on the 1 English/Spanish tie when for the first time ever there is 3 English/Italian ties".

I know the ad. :D

I guess it is a flaw in the rules of football/soccer that allow players to do this in order to waste time.

I support the Italian clubs (Although hestant with Inter) no matter who the play. I don't care if it is against English, Spanish, German etc. But surely even a fan like yourself wont always support all English clubs. What if it is a club you hate. I hate Inter with a passion. I only want them to beat Manchester United as I don't like them either. If Inter-Milan were to play Chelsea instead, I would actully support Chelsea. It is unfortuante in this case as Juventus are my Serie A club and my team overall and they got Chelsea. I would of prefered, Inter Versus Chelsea and Juventus Versus Mancheter United for example instead. Then I would of went for Chelsea in one game and Juventus in the other.

Agreed, Juve being my favourite Serie A team I'll support them over Chelsea. I don't really give a damn about any other English team. But I find it hard to believe that you support AC Milan & Juve  In EPL terms that would be me supporting Liverpool and Arsenal.

I applaud your English grammar it's good for a Italian/Slovene/Croat.

Actually I support only Juve, however I have a softspot AC Milan and Roma. Juve's main rival are Inter-Milan. Everytime they meet it is called the derby d'Italia. (Derby of Italy as I am sure you worked that one out already :) ). By the way I thought it was the Tottenham and Arsenal rivalry that existed? I take it you like Manchester United? Well just so you know I don;t really hate them. Just annoyed they are winning everything right now, when it could of been Chelsea had we won that dam penalty shoot out.........

Living in Australia for a few years as drastically improved my English. That was the whole idea of coming here in the first place. I love learning other languages and English had to be one of them. :) And of course Thankyou plenty for the complement as well.

You know because AC's biggest derby isn't against Juve. So relatively the same to Liverpool - Arsenal situation. Liverpool have Utd and Arsenal have Tottenham. :D

Being a Juve supporter you'll remember this :- http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbRUc2c3nJM

 One of the greatest nights in the club's history.

Yes I remember it. I can't believe that we lost from being 2 nil up. Then I couldn't believe we actually got up 2 nil to begin with as I claerly remember Juve's 1999 team wasn't all that flash hot. Oh well we lost I guess. If only Juve won the finals they were in in 1997 and 1998. They won in 1996 and that was it. Juve were a powerhouse in the mid to late 1990s but with only one Champions League win of 1996 to show fir it as they once again lost in 1997 and 1998 finals and also to Manchester United, your team in the semi of 1999. Inzaghi is now an AC Milan player. I remember Dwait Yorke played one year at Sydney FC in the Australian A-League as well in the 2005/2006 season.
