Russia defeated Italy 5-4 in the final of the Under 21 European Futsal championships. Although it is just a little not so important tournament, I would of liked Italy to have won it. Damm..........................................

go Russia

Smarty pants! Oh by the way in the Football World Cup for Club, Gamba Osaka beats Adelaide United again for God knows how many times now. Go Gamba Osaka.

2 times, maths not your forte? watched some of the game just made me realise why im not into soccer! BOREFEST :hehe:

3 times actually. Twice in the AFC final. (Remember that was played over 2 legs) and once in the FIFA World Cup for Clubs. Oh well had your Adelaide United won, you would of went on to play Manchester United in the semi final and probably lost 20-0. So at least it saves the embarrassment. By the way in the English language which you speak and we are speaking right now it is called FOOTBALL not soccer. The English spoken in the UK is the most correct and precise English in the world. So it is called Football. Get over it.

Im not in the UK im in Australia i speak Australian English so I call it Soccer. I think you should get over it!

You should get over it. The below is official.

A lot of Australians who live in Australia and are proud to be Australian don't share your point of view so once again you get over it.

Actually going back to fathers, fathers etc, etc, etc for you, you would end up being in Scotland and Germany. In Scotland and Germany football is association football. The real thing so you really by now need to get over it.

Also in Sydney most people hate AFL. In Melbourne most people hate Rugby League. Gee you can't agree on one Australian football here. I know, in Melbourne and Sydney people also like Association Football. Solution Association Football is better for all Australians. Coming from a foreigner I would say that is also unbiased.

I don't need to. From a Linguists point of view, the English as spoken in England is the most correct as that is the country of origin of the English Language. Simple.

Cockney speakers. I have trouble understanding then, but only because English isn't my first language. Proper English was the English spoken a few centuries ago, but the closet to that in the 21st century is what is spoken today in the UK. So I still accept UK English as the most correct no matter what. So football is football and not soccer because in the UK it is like that. It is as simple as that.

Well the a lot of Australians I know in your country suggest otherwise. Unfortunately for you it has now gotten to a point where Australians are divided on the matter. Sorry but it is football and not soccer and that is it. Get over it. Things change so move on. And before you say something stupid, these are not just Australians with Italian/Greek/Croatian etc backgrounds, no I refer to Australians like yourself with Anglo/Irish/Scottish blood etc. Times are changing so get over it.
