This past tuesday I left work heading out to my buddy's ranch and ran into a snow storm, it was awesome :thumbup:

! Here are a few pic's from the trip and a few pic's of the Blanco River that I will be trout fishing soon with my new fly rod.

This is the Blanco River where they stock Rainbow Trout every year and the great part is the water stay's cold enough that the trout are reproducing and every once in awhile a Brown Trout will be caught.

Oh and an olive coloured bloodworm fly is my weapon of choice for fly fishing at the moment, it's a killer!

I need to learn what our hatch's are over here and I joined a local fly fishing forum and have met alot of good people with experience to fish with. I'm not new to fly fishing just new to trout fishing.
