thought i would start a thread recommending good motorsport books to read. I normally have at least one book on the go and try to read at least once a day, theres some great stuff out there. if you have some to recommend, please do. some of mine follow

THE LOST GENERATION....the brilliant but tragic lives of rising british f1 stars roger williamson, tony brise and tom pryce. by david tremayne
this is one of the best books i've ever read..period..loads of new information, and if you can read the chapter on the death of roger williamson at zandvoort in 1973, and the heroic but vain attempts of david purley to rescue him, and not shed a tear, then you have no soul.

BRANDS HATCH....the history of the curcuit. excellent book, the history of the track from the 50's to present day. loads of pictures and info

JIM CLARK.....a photographic potrait. it does whats on the label, loads of photos

RACERS APART....memories of motorsport heros. by david tremayne. short stories of lots of drivers, senna, mansell, andretti, 25 drivers in total, a good book

theres some of mine, lets see some of your favourites or welcome comment on mine if you've read them

All those look good dude. I'll read any motorsport book I can find.

This is the only one I have, which I got bought used for 50 dollars.
Its really cool, I like it. It just shows the history of Monaco in pictures starting from the 20's all the way to 2006.
