Ramos becomes the new Real manager? hows that work?

The fact that he is arguably the best Spanish manager on the continent.

He wasnt good enough for spurs, so why is he good enough to manage the Galácticos!

I think Raffa is probs the best Spanish manager about in europe.

# "Harry Redknaps Blue n' White Army!"

Damn, forgot about Rafa. Well yeah 2nd best then but he was good enough to manage Spurs otherwise what would he be doing there in the first place. Main problem the fact that his English was very weak and that he focussed on the fitness rather than actual match preparation.

Spurs board are a bunch of mongs though. He had to sell two brilliant strikers before he could actually sort out replacements!!

He sold practically our whole team! That method has never worked in the history of football. The team was a solid building block in which to push on. Both our top strikers scored over 20 goals. The defence was starting to shape up. WE WON THE CARLING CUP. If its not broke, dont fix it because it unrests the team. Lets see who he stupidly sells at real.

My point was that it is was people behind the scenes who made him sell Berbatov and Keane, i severely doubt that Ramos wanted rid of those two - they were your best players!! Most football boards/directors just want to balance the books and make money now... £52m...

Lippi didn't have the greatest of starts. 2-2 draw could have done better. But they put in a good 2nd half. Always nice to see the "Golden boy" out on pitch. Any news on whether Totti and Nesta will come back out of retirement? Both of them take quite a shine to Lippi.

Totti doesn't want to play at a national level anymore so he wont be playing. Nesta I don't know anything about yet. He is getting a bit old nowadays so maybe his time has just about come. Or maybe he might have a year or so left in him.

:hehe: Your predictions are pathetic woman!

"What if he called me? I wouldn’t say no right away,” he told the Corriere dello Sport. “I would carefully ponder my decision, over and over, but only because it is Lippi, who has always maintained an exceptional attitude towards me.”

Totti doesn't or didn't like playing under Donadoni. Now that Lippi is back as coach, maybe he could return. But there is long maybe in that simply because Totti has only recently just come back from injury. Although he did play a good game last week for AS Roma. :)

Nice news. Italy under 21 Futsal team has made the final of the under 21 European Futsal Championships. Italy defeated mighty Spain 1-0 in the semi final. Some Italian player by the name Andrei Bordignon socored. That isn't an Italian name. Looks French to me. Good to see I am not the only one with a non Italian name. :hehe: Italy now faces Russia who defeated the Ukraine also 1-0. In the same tournament Italy played Russia as well as Slovenija and Croatia in their group and drew with the Russians. Hopefully this time since someone has to win it, that the winner will be Italy. Although the tournament is being played in Russia. Hopefully the home team loses then.......

Russia defeated Italy 5-4 in the final of the Under 21 European Futsal championships. Although it is just a little not so important tournament, I would of liked Italy to have won it. Damm..........................................

3 times actually. Twice in the AFC final. (Remember that was played over 2 legs) and once in the FIFA World Cup for Clubs. Oh well had your Adelaide United won, you would of went on to play Manchester United in the semi final and probably lost 20-0. So at least it saves the embarrassment. By the way in the English language which you speak and we are speaking right now it is called FOOTBALL not soccer. The English spoken in the UK is the most correct and precise English in the world. So it is called Football. Get over it.
