David's a personal favourite of mine (Him and Brawn). I hope he does buy it. A Richards/Brawn/Button combo would be pretty handy.

And as for which name (ProDrive or Aston Martin), I'd love it to be Aston Martin :)

I was going to buy them, but then I checked what's on my bank account.

:(

:hehe:

Buying is not the problem - you can have them for a nominal amount (£1 or so, you DO have that, don't you?). But the costs of running the team is kinda prohibitive...

If Bernie wants F1 to survive he should buy it. I mean to him it would be like buying a penny-sweet. Or would it be "a surprisingly expensive penny-sweet"?

Crown Prince Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa

or

Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan

David Richards doesn't have a chance against these two.
His only hope is that if one of the two above buy the team, that they then employ him.

Just like the good old days :cloud9:

"So Bernie [Ecclestone], in the seventeen years since you bought McLaren, which of your many achievements do you think was the most memorable ?"
Bernie Answers, "Well I don't remember buying McLaren."

The value of the Honda team to any potential investors will be reduced by all the uncertainty surrounding the sport. Particularly if other manufacturers start wobbling in their commitment, Max needs to have more certainty concerning the future of the sport.
