Personally, I think this could be a good way to preserve struggling European GPs: alternate some, e.g., Hungary and France, or Spa and Nürburgring, etc. But also alternate Dubai and Bahrain, Singapore and Malaysia, China and India, Moscow and Valencia, and others. That way we could keep more of the traditional tracks alive and BE could still get what he wants (expanding to Asia).
