Welcome Zonk, nice to have an Italian on the forum we havent had a regular Italian poster since Certom stopped posting here.
Enjoy the banter here and as tex said dont take it too seriously

Ciao Zonked, come stai? (In Australia) Ciao. :wavey:

I thought this is an English speaking forum  Im sure you can write the above in English and Zonk would understand and it wouldnt be so rude for the rest of us.

I must agree that if one speak's in another language a translation in english would be much appreciated seeing as how english is the universal language. Not that I or anyone else here is disrespecting your knowledge and ability to speak other languages BUT the survey taken has shown that if we cannot understand you how can we take you seriously?

You mean English is the universal language of this forum. But fine I will translate it even though what I wrote isn't at all important or nothing you don't already know about me.

Hello Zonked, how are you? Are you from Florence? My name is Kiki. So tell me,you are Italian, so surely you are a Ferrari supporter yes? I am a HUGE Ferrari supporter. :D I was originally from Ljubljana but am from Udine. (Complicated story so best to leave it be. :hehe: ). In football I do not however go for Udinese, I barrick for the great JUVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you? Now I have approximetly 3 years, almost 4 years that I have lived abroad. (In Australia) Bye. :wavey:

There you go. Happy now Bud and Tex?

If you are not from Florence originally, where are you from? By the way I know you go for Ferrari. The part of your footer is from one of my favorite pictures. The one below. :hehe:

Humgarian, wow. And you lived in the UAE. Dubai? Big city with very tall buildings. Nice. Would love to visit it one day. By the way a question if I may. Don't know if you know the answer but I will ask it. The surname Rajki, is it of Hungarian origin? I am curious as my father doen't know but thinks it may be Hungarian or Polish in origin.

Well for the moment I aint a 100% sure but I think its more Polish then Hungarian. The problem is guessing the origins of a name aint an easy game and no suprises your dad is confused.

If I figure it out Il let you know!

As far as I know I have never heard of any Hungarian with such a name, but il ask around!

Oh and I lived in Abu Dhabi the so called lesser know actual capital of the Uae and host of the Abu Dhabi Gp next year in November, hopefully I get to go back to watch the race there, already have my ticket buyer!

Ok cool. Let me know if you find out. No stress if you don't. I think it is more Polish as Bud is right there is a town in Poland called Rajki. Rajki is my surname. Although the name would go back a few hundred years ago when someone migrated from somewhere to what is now Slovenija.

Abu Dhabi, is that all full of tall building etc like Dubai? Yes I look forward to watching the Grand Prix there as well. Although that is still a year away since it is last on the calendar for 2009.

Well it kind of depends on the variation of the word, since the name Rajki as u mentioned is more likely Polish!

But in the variation of Rajko it can be gyspy name found in Hungary.

Also Rajk is a Hungarian name, see it all comes down to the spelling and how it eveloved....Rajk laszlo was a famous Hungarian who got executed for example.

so I understand the confusion regarding this name!

But the name Rajki has no chance of even being a slavic Hungarian name.....

so all I can is draw conclusions that the name is the same, but it has different variation regarding on the country your from!or you originate from.

Well I am originally from Slovenija. Father (who the name is from) is as well. So is everyone else on his side of the family. All that one can conlcude is that many hundred of years ago somone came to what is now Slovenija from the Hungarian border or around that area. There is a city in Slovenija that has a large Hungarian population so who knows what is possible.

Hvala Ljepa (Many Thanks) for the information anyway. :)
