I got really uplifted when i read that Giancarlo is looking forward for a competitive drive next year in Force India... According to the Italian he has already signed a contract over both the 2009 and the 2010 season? http://www.formula1.com/news/interviews ... /8743.html

However I think that Force India will have much more of a fair chance next year considering the McLaren deal. Or what do you think, will Fisi be unable to score a point or two in 2009?

He could still be bought out of that contract.
If Mclaren want to put say De La Rosa, De Resta or whoever in the car - maybe not next year but in 2010 say, then they surely will!

Force India still have the worst driver line-up. Sutil can drive fast, but not consistently. But maybe next year, we'll see what he does with the new car. Fisi, give it a rest already, please.

I really think that Fisi is past it and doesn't even deserve a drive with the Force India team. Since Reubens is having trouble securing a drive Vijay should replace Fisi with Reubens. That would advance Force India greatly, in terms of testing, and having a driver that can sneak the car into the points.

I don't know. If Force India find themselves in the position that Red Bull were in this season, Fisichella could be a valuable asset. Whilst he seems unable to drive very well when he's in a quick car, he can put a slower one in positions it shouldn't be, as we saw by his performances at Catalunya and Monza this year.

No, I'm not. But Rubens should stay at Honda. If worse drivers can keep their seats, then I don't see why he shouldn't.

No, I'm not. But Rubens should stay at Honda. If worse drivers can keep their seats, then I don't see why he shouldn't.

I agree. The problem is it looks that Reubens is going to lose seat and if he is Force India should take advantage of the situation

I think Fisi and Rubens are both equal and are tremendous drivers in their own right. I want to see them both in F1 next year.

Interestingly, both men had seasons which were favourable to their more-hyped team-mates this year, despite Fisi possibly lacking some motivation and Button likewise.

I think with Honda's advanced development on the '09 car and Force India's McLaren-Mercedes goodies they could both have good '09 seasons.

Liuzzi is a guy i definately think deserves another chance, he didn't do a bad job at all when he had a race seat. Unfortunately i doubt it'll happen.

I would even go further along this line, send HK to force India and pair Reubens with Lewis at McLaren. Reubens still has a few good years left, and McLaren need expeirence and podium finishes of their second driver.
