Ahaha, people are having a go because he has 'sour grapes' and so on... can you really blame him given the situation??

my answer to that is what did he expect when he signed to partner Michael Schumacher at Ferrari?

if he is so pissed about it make a stand at the time! if the threat of ditching you because you didnt pull over went through, can you imagine the bad publicity Ferrari would have gotten because of that!?

"Driver axed for beating team mate"

That would have been awesome, but my thinking is that he wouldn't have expected to have to do something as ridiculously stupid as that, you know?

Well I like Rubens and hope he does publish the book to show everyone, who still isnt quite sure, how Michael got so many championships and also how the poison dwarf operated.
Bring it on Rubens!! :)

Rubens is a lying little prick. Half the rubbish he says is lies. Sure he was threatened with the sack if he didn't move over in Austria 2002 but Michael Schumacher repayed the debit in Indionapolis 2002 which I guess means he would of still won the same amount of races he did that year. All other times, Michael Schumacher was usually quicker than Rubens and thus why he usually won. You can't stop someone that is quicker than someone else. That is a fact and those are Michael Schumacher's words from another article I read and so very true. Michael Schumacher's world titles are all his and to his superior skills. Every single one of those 7 titles he earned (2 at Benetton and 5 at Ferrari) are worth more than that rubbish WDC of Lewis Hamilton, that is for sure. Michael Schumacher is the F1 God forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:yes::thumbup:

Its all bollocks - Rubens could have quit with his precious integrety. Sour Grapes Rubens, enjoy your retirement!

Ruebens is complaining about Austria 2002 but I don't see him saying anything about USA 2002. Michael stole the race victory in Austria and then rectified it at Indy. So that is it. Controversy finished! His book should be an interesting read however but I will take what he says in it with a pinch of salt :hehe:

"I am too good people don't like me.......". Do you think this is what Rubens did everytime Schumacher got ahead of him as well? :hehe:

What a load of trash. The whole team was geared around Schumacher to give him the best-possible chance of winning. If something was wrong with Schumacher's setup, he would simply nab Barrichello's data. Hell, if something was wrong Schumacher's car, he would be allowed to use Barrichello's. Schumacher was given absolute priority in the team. Even the cars were designed to suit Schumacher's driving style. As far as I'm concerned, Formula One has several paradoxes at its core, so it's up to Ferrari how they resolve those. Although I would like to see team orders used as little as possible, it's equally valid for Ferrari to operate their team with them. That said, a person's driving prowess is another matter; Schumacher's career is a sham.

Schumacher was given priority in the team. Its the correct way to go for me. Senna and Prost, well we know how that turned out. Alonso & Hamilton - that worked out well. I am a firm believer that you can't have 2 equally competitive drivers in one equally competive team. Hamiliton DEFINATELY is priority in McLaren - Heiki is a nice chap so he won't cause any trouble but sooner later he'll lose patience.

Why would he lie? what has he got to gain from it? MS made Ferrari work for him they were all part of a so called "dream team" in which they would win the WDC/WCC with Micheal.

Rubens was there just to make sure hey got the WCC, and to fill the numbers and make sure MS won the WDC and if you can't see that your blind.

Schumacher was a good driver yes and he was better than Rubens but he won those titles with Rubens Help.

And Lewis title is worth just as much as any of Shui's titles if not more considering the fact he had all of the FIA against him.

I would love to see Lewis race at the ROC this year and beat Schui just to show you he isn't all that.

Put it this way if Senna hadn't of died in 1994 Schui wouldn't have nearly as many titles because for one he wouldn't of pulled that stunt on Senna that he did on Hill.

In all honestly one may percieve that it is the same with McLaren and Lewis as it was with Ferrari and Schumacher, right? Why is it so bad and determined to be outlandish behavior on Ferrari's part when any other team with any sort of common sense would do the same with a driver of such caliber?

Seem's to me jealousy over Michael dominating for 5yr's straight is still stuck in the craw of those other team fan's who where beaten.

Loving all your excuses Longbow as they are brilliant, oh sorry I meant pathetic/typical  .

umm... rubens was talking about a particular race and a particular track in a particular year (the race that shant be mentioned).
and by the reaction of the ferrari fans, i can only assume you condone that sort of racing for the better (ahem) of the team and for the championship contender. but i'm also sure you know that schumi had a fair margin in the points (if i remember correctly).
rubens was robbed!! even as a mclaren fan, i felt gutted for the man and disgusted with ferrari... rubens has all the right to speak about it and probably many other instances were he was screwed or manipulated.

and yes, most teams have a lead driver which they concentrate their title hopes on, fair enough, but for all mclaren's faults they never have pulled a stunt like that. no self respecting f1 fan can condone that particular race, not even AKR!!

giddy up cowboy :whip:

Yes, but the discussion became general ... it was mentioned Schumi's career was a 'sham'
I am the most reasonable Ferrari there is, and am the first to admit that the race that shan't be mentioned was a farce, absolutely unfair on Rubens and fans.
