Williams have a history on turning ont their drivers when they produce bad cars. Unfortunately they are a sinking ship and it's only a matter of time before they sell out... A private team will never win in F1 again...

if anything i think Toyota is the Williams B team, think there will be alot of chassis data given to Toyota in exchange for cheaper engines. i can even see toyota pulling out of f1 as they are now and buying Williams supplying them with engines keeping their brand in the game. if only Sir Frank sees the light of day.

Toyota could strike a deal with Williams and develop engines solely and exclusively for them like Mercedes are doing for McLaren and pull the works team out of F1, this is what Renault did at the end of 1985 when they pulled the works team out and continued to provide engines for Lotus and Ligier for 1986.

You forget the Japanese tradition of saving face: if they pull out (before Honda does), it would be an admission of failure, of not being able to play with the big boys. A no-no for the biggest car maker in the world.

Ah Toyota, everyone thought their deep pockets would give them speed on the racetrack, it's almost nice to see that a blank cheque doesn't equal speed out on the black stuff.

Yes they will want to save face however they are a business, so I'm sure the cost vs saving face argument is raging at the executive board meetings.

Don't think they will pull out in a hurry after securing Mt Fuji, guess that's our only clue that they are going to stick around...

Toyota - bad management, bad drivers, bad car, I don't see why they don't pull out or use that blank check for something productive, like hiring good drivers, engineers or designers.
