Hamilton will not react as Alonso did to a challenge from within the team, he will just be more determined to be faster. Which will be good for the team all round. Kovi should go better next year , the stickier tyres will suit him better so they should be closer.

It isn't about how grippy/sticky the tyres are - it's about him being able to drive in his style without them being torn to shreds by the second lap. I think that the things that will really benefit Heikki are the fact that he will be in the picture right from the start of the MP4-24's development (instead of Alonso) and that McLaren's self-imposed 'ban' on developing their braking system (along with other parts) will be over.

Kovi was hardly in the postion to help .. which if you think of it made him pretty useless in his role
