Hi there, my names Martin and i'm from West Wales. I'm 30 years old and have been hooked on f1 since my dad took me to Silverstone aged 9. Favourite driver ever was Ayrton Senna, current favourite Fernando Alonso.

Welcome to the forum. It's good to see another guy on here who is correct about who the greatest driver of all time is. :yes:


He said that Senna was his favorite driver. He didn't say that Senna was the greatest driver of all time. That is hard and unfair and trully biased comment to make. How do you justify that Senna was the greatest driver of all time. What about Tazio Nuvolari?, or Juan Manuel Fangio?, or Michael Schmacher?. Sadly you'll never ever really be able to compare the 4 as they all belong to different eras and only a few ever met each other on the race track. Ie Senna left when Schmuacher got to his peak. Nuvolari was very much on his way to retirement when Fangio started tasting glory.

Well he did win 7 championships did he not? Senna only won 3, Fangio 5 and Nuvolari 1 European championship (But on many years during his time there was no championship so not fair to count him in this). According to stats, Michael Schumacher is the greatest of all time.
