Oooo I had Gameboy (which are a brick ) , Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advanced, I also atm have for the Nintendo whats-it-called ? Cant you tell I havent used it in a while

I think I will go for a PS3.. wont be till after christmas though... Unless I get a big unexpected bonus beforehand =/

i would personaly go for the 360 i realy enjoy the online experience, anything remotly multiplayerd / playing with friends i just found lacked on the ps3. the xbox has a a great system for movies and game downloads aswell as being able to do thing like be on MSN while in my living room ect. the ps3 has a small advantage graphics wise but to the untrained eye i doubt its visable. and a very slight difrence in games but these days things are rarly single platform. also the price diffrence especialy atm is huge, you can pick up a better deal on a xbox + games ect for alot less than just the ps3 on its own.

I have played on both systems and the PS3 has the far superior graphics. Plus the blu-ray player is going to come in handy in the coming years. That said the Xbox 360 has the best games IMO. Fable 2, Gears of War, The Halo series etc. Sony have got some good games but there is usually an superior equivalent on the xbox 360. Plus if you have the set up xbox live is awesome. I would get the xbox 360 (or wait until Sony brings their price down but that just me being my stingy self )

I've played both and I wouldn't say the graphics are "far" superior. They are slightly better but what the 360 doesn't make up in graphics it certainly impresses in the Online and game options.

PS3 is a bit too ......'fidly' trying to play with a friend is hard to do, 360 is simple, quick and a lot of fun online with your friends.

Like I said, I've got both... But I think which one is best for you depends on what sort of games you enjoy playing. Also, if you want to pay extra to get online with the Xbox. I would normally say go for the PS3, except if you like RPGs, in which case go for the Xbox. *shrug* It's a difficult choice... have a look round in Game or some other store and see which one has the most games you want to play!

I absolutely hated consoles until my OH got his PS3 and now I'm a total convert. Play way too much on Battlefield at the moment, and absolutely adored Oblivion (except for the huge, great big game-breaking flaw in the PS3 version that Bethesda won't fix...grrrr). I did say after Oblivion I wouldn't buy any more Bethesda games but Fallout 3 looks so good I don't think I can resist the temptation
