The Brabham fan car! Some say that if the FIA had disqualified Niki Lauda for using that car, Arrows could have taken their first win as Patrese had finished 2nd.

What the hell is a fan car? what did it do?

It was an attempt by Gordon Murray to make the Brabham more competitive than the legendary Lotus 79 in the 1978 season, the fan was used to suck the car down to the ground. It got banned straight after Niki Lauda cruised to victory in the Swedish GP.
