Help me decide. I probably wont buy it till after Christmas. But what do you think I should get?

I did Have a 360 but it got the Red ring of death, so I could just get that repaired. I also had a wii but it got stolen .

Er, I have both. At least, I do at the moment - I worry that my boyfriend will throw the Xbox out the window - he's a complete Sony fanboy.

I think, really, it depends on what sort of games you like. From my point of view, the Xbox has more games that I want to play on it, at the moment, anyway. And it's got Fable II, which kicks bottom. But, then again, the PS3 will have LittleBigPlanet, which I'm very excited about.

Personally, I really like RPGs, so the Xbox is the console for me at the moment. Especially since Final Fantasy XII is no longer PS3 exclusive.

Bear in mind, also - to play online on Xbox is expensive! I don't even bother. For PS3, it's FREE. Oh, and the Xbox is LOUD!

Xbox isn't that loud...well not anymore it isn't.

Plus, an extra £40 goes along way. The Xbox Live system is far better than the PSN.

But it wholly depends on what game genres you are into? RPG is easily Xbox 360's but for Racing I would go for the PS3. With Action, being bias, I would go for the 360 because of the Halo and Gears of War series.

360!!! If you like shooter's the 360 is a must. Gears 2 comes out pretty soon!!!

If u want the best console out then get the ps3
But if your goin more for online gaming then the 360 is far superior. There both gd consolse though and ive had my 360 3 years and still not had the ring of death!!! Think u need to play the thing nonstop to the point it destroys its will to live to get the ring of fire

If you really can't wait for an F1 game to play get a PS3, but I suggest you just get a Xbox 360, theres Forza Motorsport 2 which is really really good, and sometime in 2009 a NEW FORMULA 1 GAME will be released for 360 and PS3, personally I know Xbox 360 is better since it ahs more better games to play

well I used to work for GAME so I know about them both and what is up and coming. The PS3 has some big things coming that are going to be exciting so im slightly tempted by the PS3. But I know the XBOX is a safe bet.... woe is me! hmmm :/ maybe I should get both?

Yeah, my brother worked in both GAME and Game Station, so I always ask him what games are coming

If Grid and Toca are anything to go by then their F1 game should be quality.

Flip a coin with regards to which console to get each have their own plus's and negatives.

Well I have both a PS3 and an XBox360 and our house has ALWAYS swayed towards Playstation but since we purchased our PS3 on release day we have not used it half as much as the XBox. I would however say that as far as value for money is concerned Playstation wins hands down. Online gaming is free (we have to pay for 4 people to go online with Xbox at about £160 per year) and of course you have the fabulous Blue Ray player. There are some great things in the pipeline for PS3 but so far it is becoming a bit of a drag waiting for them to happen......HOME for instance.

XBox in my opinion is far better for online gaming..........much more user friendly and you can chat to and message the people you are playing during gameplay much easier than the Playstation although Sony have made some changes recently. Then of course there is your gamer points which are good if you are competitive and will strive to get the most points you can from a game as opposed to finishing it really quickly then moving on to the next. Playstation have now started something similar in the way of trophies.

I would say choosing between the two is a difficult decision as there are pro's and cons for both, you have to decide what factors are more important for you........................and last but certainly not least, Playstation looks much more appealing under your television

Oh yeah, one more thing..........my partner bought Xbox purely for GOW and has played it to death so if you like shooters.........GOW II is almost out and if it's as good as GOW you'll still be playing it 2 years down the line!!!
