That will most likely be the tensest part of the race, but I'll be pretty anxious throughout the whole thing. Hamilton hasn't got as much margin for error as he perhaps could have had and anything can go wrong: punctures, for instance, can happen to anybody. Then, if there is to be wet weather, it will most likely be akin to monsoon: it never rains in Sao Paulo; it pours; and in that weather, anybody can go off the track.

Yeh for every race up to now i've been hoping for rain since Hamilton is so good in the wet but now i just want a boring race for hamilton for him to go round and end up 3rd 4th and world champion.

I am sure you do. :(
Oh well maybe with a bit of luck Lewis Hamilton might not win. I felt like this last season when it came down to the last race. I didn't see the race as I was on a plane to Rome just before it and when I finally arrived and could of somehow watched it, I didn't want to know as I was convinced that Lewis Hamilton would be world champion then. I was full of joy when I found out he lost by a point. I guess that luck probably wont happen in a few hours time. So go enjoy your glory. I'll just signout for now and watch the race in a few hours time. :(

AKR is weird to see you like this! Cheer up! At least Ferrari are pretty much assured the constructors title so that is something. Lewis has driven well all season bar a couple mistakes and the same goes for Massa. As long as Alonso doesn't stick his Renault where it isn't wanted we should have a clean race and therefore a clean world title win for whoever the victor is.

if its wet the start will be very nervy, who knows what could happen

but for hamilton, i think its only the start and first lap thats gonna be the problem, if he gets through that, its gonna only be mechanical that can stop him

the guys due a mechanical failure too haha

hoping for rain!

I would guess that HK will go defensive at the start, to protect LH from the rear. McLaren would probably prefer that the field then stretches out so that LH is on his own. But a Trulli train could put paid to that for a few laps.

I'm really starting to get nervous too. Even though Williams have nothing to play for and nothing to lose - but if it rains everything to gain.

Maybe it's because I want Hamilton to win it for McLaren, for justice and also a big raspberry in the FIA's face.

Kubica P13..... very surprised. :(

Very disappointed with that myself. It seems something has changed on the BMW, and Kubica is having a hell of a time trying to tame the beast. A pity, I wanted this championship to be a three-guy thing up to the last race (even though I want Hamilton to win).

Next year, Robert!

Yup, there's always next year.

no trulli train this week i think

im not nervous at all, as long as its not boring, cause i dont care for the result i want a exciting one,

i bet piquet goes full of fuel

Im worried about Trulli's race pace, we all know hes awesome over 1 lap in Qualifying but he could play a big part in the Championship.

Trulli will be quick when "everything" is right. If it rains he'll not be happy because the Toyota is poor in the wet and he'll take up the Alliot role again.

I think he's light enough to keep up a decent pace, and with the Toyota apparently being a hard car to follow around in the turbulent air, he might be able to keep everyone behind him, though he might get leapfrogged at his stop.

According to weather.com, there's a 100% chance of rain in Sao Paulo.

All other sites have rain in the forecast, so I expect rain today.

YES

renault are gonna have toyota in that case, as long as piquet keeps it on track that is he got a good position

i think we are gonna see what people are made of today, will massa mess it up in the rain? ooh, its gonna be good

If the race starts in the rain and he's on the right tyres (unlike Fuji last year) then I guess he won't have too many problems. The only threat, really, will be guys like Raikkonen, Hamilton and Alonso passing him, though he could well keep it on track at least. Of course, it depends entirely on whether it rains or it absolutely lashes it down, in which case I wouldn't be surprised to see Fisichella or Barrichello win the race, such would be the lottery.
