That was a lot to read thanks Mclaren fan it looks like the Torro Rosso's will finish in the top 10 this year. It would be nice to see Coulthard get a good result for his last race.

It will be interesting to see how things pan out should it rain, particularly for me, for I've not given up hope of winning the race and constructors' title.

If McLaren by any chance get the constructors, there will be no justice. And I don't care what anyone thinks. McLarenites take the drivers title and be happy and content with that, as even that is far to generous for my likling to give to McLaren and Lewis Hamilton.

I think that Massa will win the WDC and the BMW's to strugle and the Torro Rosso's to be right up their with them.

I think BMW will finish strong. Kubica gets a new engine and gearbox. I think he gets a podium finish.

That would help Massa, so long as Massa finished first and Lewis Hamilton doesn't beat either of the Ferraris, BMWs and possibly Alonso. That would be a perfect top 5 finish to relgate Lewis Hamilton to 6th. Massa 1st and the other 4 in any order. :D:yes::thumbup:

Yea, that would be OK.

Although Kubica will win, Massa second.

I have a better idea. Massa wins the WDC and Ferrari the WCC in 2008 and Kubica and BMW-Sauber win the WDC and WCC in 2009. I can live with that. And I would be happy with that as well. As long as McLaren aren't winning anything.:thumbup::D

What part of having more points than the other lot does not constitute justice? It's such a long shot for McLaren, if Ferrari do lose it they'll deserve to come second.

More like unless Ferrari win by a large margin - at least fourteen points - I've yet to check - Ferrari will be false champions. In fact, McLaren have given up on the constructors' title because the team are too far behind. The FIA have almost guaranteed you at least one title this year.

I hope Bourdais gets on the podium, make up for Trulli taking him off at the start of the last race, Massa driving into him and then being whipped by Mad Max.

Pfft, even if Trulli did take him out then that merely makes up for Bourdais ramming Trulli in Spa! :P

Hi to all

Frst at all, sorry about my English.

I'd like to express my opinion about something that now is happening and I think is too dangerous:

A certain sector of the English press as well known and the FIA have returned to take the opportunity to manipulate public opinion and defame seriously once again to the Spanish fans and the Spanish people, branded as racist or at least very clearly insinuating , And repeatedly. It is intolerable this kind of manipulation based on a web site for kidding, and in the comments, (excessive and abusive) of a few, for anything that reflects the sentiments of the fans or the Spanish people. Again using the argument of racism was raised with the interest of protecting Lewis Hamilton, and to impose the view that the fans should have respect for him, against the slightest freedom of opinion. It is unacceptable and intolerable that the highest body that governs the competition to be an attack against a unfounded generality of fans, by some and little side (I hope) of English press.

I don't think about coutries or skin colours when I "taste" F1 races. No matter wich country a pilot is.

One more thing: I'm an Alonso fan, but I think Lewis MUST win the WDC this year.

Good luck !!!

Hello, welcome to the site. Your English is pretty good actually!

I don't think anyone on the forum seriously believes that the whole of Spain is racist or anything, but every now and then a few spaniards really don't help themselves. As for the British press manipulating public opinion, yeah, they do that... But it sells newspapers, doesn't it? They can make a sensation about anything. A couple of years back it was about what name was given to a cat on a TV programme, so don't take it too seriously!

Oh man, don't let this thing spill out onto the whole forum, it's bad enough having one thread giving those lot any attention....
#77238
yep, best keep this out of this thread i think,

topics being done to death

not all spain is racist, its the minority
the press want to sell newspapers/stories
everyone loves to jump on a bandwagon and have britain vs spain or whatever
