You know, it's possible to dislike Lewis without being racist :)

Hamilton is not the best driver since the dawn of mankind. Maybe one day he will be, but today he most certainly is not.

stupid :censored:S the lot of them, massa, alonso :censored: ......er excuse me, alonso and the lot of the :censored:ers thier only jelous beacuse they havent got an ounce of natrul talent in thier whole body, never the less they are:censored: :censored::censored::censored:ers they need to get a life (and possibly a haircut) (hehe) but sieriously hamilton is the best f1 driver since the dawn of mankind (so stick that in your pipe and smoke it (massa, alonso and the other :censored:ers))

Dawn of mankind? Hm, I wonder whether you know what you're talking about...

i think i do, hamilton rocks or are you a racist twat like all the rest?

No, I was just wondering what you think the time horizon of the dawn of mankind would be?
At any rate, this your statement is completely ridiculous and you will find that most if not all members here will disagree because LH hasn't achieved much yet and because he can't be compared to MS or AS in terms of race and driving skills.
And even IF I don't think that LH rocks (whatever you mean by that) - this wouldn't make me a racist and accusing me of such a thing will put you in a miserable place on this forum, guaranteed!

Yep. :) Also it's only possible to think people are racist just because they aren't a fan of a black sportsman by being a bit thick.

It's okay, they've gone now - probably past their bedtime. Or ate too many wine gums after going out trick or treating! :hehe:

Amazingly, I've gone for several hours without so much as a knock at the door. I'm very good at keeping my house looking like it's empty on Halloween :)

From autosport.com:

Dennis: We must rise above racist abuse

McLaren boss Ron Dennis says Lewis Hamilton has to rise above the kind of racist abuse seen on a Spanish website this week.

The website included hundred of derogatory comments on Hamilton, Formula One's first black driver.

"I'm aware of the site's existence although I haven't looked at any of the material," said Dennis after Friday's practice at Interlagos.

"You just have to rise above it. If it is in any way, shape or form designed to disrupt the team or Lewis, it's not going to do it."

Spain's two-time champion Fernando Alonso, who said he had not heard about the website, also condemned the racist fans.

"If it is true then it is not possible (acceptable)," Alonso said. "In these days, in 2008, we cannot have these kind of people in our world. It is not only F1, it is not only sport, it is life as well. This is not possible (acceptable) in our days."

It's good to read that Alonso is condemning what has happened again. Whether or not the lowlifes who have been spouting their racist ideas take heed of their hero on this one, I don't know.

Disgraceful. Spain, perhaps more than most European countries, is home to a large proportion of people with racist views.

Give me a break.

Last time I was in England, not so long ago (early 90s) people would call me "f***ing paky" on the streets because my skin was dark. Other than being violently racist towards pakistanis, they also did not have a f***ing clue of what a pakistani looks like (I am dark skinned but certainly do not look like a pakistani).

Not to mention Jean Charles de Menezes.

You see yourselves as such a civilized society and yet the Heissel stadium massacre did not happen so long ago.

You do not not have a clue of what Spain is like. Most of you just go to Spain to puke every night over cheap beer.

And do not get me started on slave trading.

Do you really think that's a case of racism?

And do not get me started on slave trading.

You mean the trading of black slaves? That would be Spain and Portugal.

I didn't say only Spain had a racism problem. What I did say is that Spain's racism problem is more serious than other countries and the Spanish government are not interested in acknowledging this fact.

Not to mention Jean Charles de Menezes.

What has his tragic death got to do with racism?

You see yourselves as such a civilized society and yet the Heissel stadium massacre did not happen so long ago.

Similar to what I said above really. Spain is not the only country with problems, but its government chooses to pretend they don't exist. It was recognised in England that there was a problem with football hooliganism and steps were taken to try and redress the matter. Moreover, I should state, I'm not English.

And do not get me started on slave trading.

Indeed, yes. Britain were the first country to ban the slave trade.

You do not not have a clue of what Spain is like. Most of you just go to Spain to puke every night over cheap beer.

I'm not an expert on Spain, but I know enough to tell you for a fact that it has a problem with racism and that its government refuse to take steps to sort out the matter. If you're so contemptuous towards tourists in Spain, then close the borders and stop opening up pubs etc. for people to get drunk.

Learn some history. Slavery was not allowed in Spain or its colonies. Spain never captured or traded slaves. At most it bought some of them occasionally (from the English and other european slave traders).

Spain has always been racist going all the way back to that Cortez dude conquering the Aztecs.

You believe your own propaganda.
Like you went to India and said, "May we take your country, please?" Give me a break.

At least we would marry the natives, which you hardly ever did in North America (where annihilation of natives seemed the goal) and the rest of the colonies. Would a racist marry someone of an "inferior" race?

I'm not saying all Spaniards are racist, but the vast majority of them are racist.

You got that out of a hat.

but Spain is known for there racism. Remember that picture the Spanish basketball team took during the olympics?

No it's not. The English have been making this up in the last 18 months. The basketball team photograph was a definitely friendly thing, but you just have decided that we are racist and now there's no stopping you.

Personally i think it is stupid and unfair to hate people just because they belong to a different race.
I hate people because of what they are like. Like I lived in England and hate the average Briton since, as he thinks the rest of the world is inferior, yet he lives in an unhappy rotten society full of teenage crime and teenage pregnancies, with probably the most disgraceful newspapers in the world (as well as some of the best in the world, in all fairness).

Guys, the British empire and the industrial revolution. Even your banking system sucks now. Get used to it.

1. I'm not British

2. How is slanting your eyes a friendly thing?

3. This arguement is going no-where, so if any of my comments offended you then I apologize.

Indeed, yes. Britain were the first country to ban the slave trade.

That's because you WERE trading slaves.

From Wikipedia, not exactly a Spanish influenced resource:
<<Britain played a prominent role in the Atlantic slave trade. The "slave triangle" was pioneered by Francis Drake and his associates. Slavery was a legal institution in all of the 13 American colonies, and the profits of the slave trade and of West Indian plantations amounted to 5% of the British economy at the time of the Industrial Revolution.>>

Denying that is just ignoring history.

Spain just merely bought some slaves from you. And not that many: outside of Cuba you will not find a lot of Hispanic Americans of African origin.

American natives were never made slaves as there were laws passed as early as the 16th century that banned. There were admittedly unfair forced work conditions, but that was a far cry from being captured in Ghana and sent to another continent for lifelong slavery.

And the USA, with population descending mainly from Anglo-saxon and northern european population, had extremely racist laws up until half a century ago, as we all know.

So let's cut the crap about racism. English certainly has nothing to be proud of. Neither historically or at present (you still perceive the rest of the world as being inferior as I keep seeing often. Last was the Guardian's highly insulting PIGS acronym for Portugal, Italy, Greece and Spain. What a funny pun, specially coming from a country were showers were a rarity up until very recently, and one bath a week was what you considered standard personal hygiene)

Sorry, but I think you are the one who needs to study up on his history. Spain was involved in the slave trade. In fact, Portugal and Spain were the first countries to initiate the Atlantic slave trade! :banghead:

It is f***ing ridiculous the abuse Lewis is getting, f***ing grow up some people

Disgraceful. Spain, perhaps more than most European countries, is home to a large proportion of people with racist views, despite their government trying to say otherwise. A lot of this also is the result of what happened last season; they are using Hamilton's race as a means to get at him for beating their beloved Alonso.

Why does everyone pick on Spain. This is not fair. I went to that website. pinchlaruetadehamilton.com Where is it racist? All it says is to "Punchure the tyres of Hamilton". Why is that racist. If you don't like it do one back that says, Punch Alonso in the head when he opens his big mouth or something. Here I will even write in Spanish for you so they can know it as well. "Dar un puñetazo a la cabeza de Alonso cuando él se abre su boca grande....." *LOL*

Fact of the matter Spain is the way it is, Italy isn't any different nor is Argentina, and countries like Croatia and the like I won't even start with. Spain is racist? That is a joke. Some of you English people need to get out a bit and see the world. Not everything is seen or perceived "The British Way".
