Goodbye Canadian Grand Prix

Goodbye James Allen

Same here.

But I still have some hope for the Canadian GP next year.

Lift Me Up's an incredible song, always a great start to a race programme, especially early in the morning.

I thought "Lift Me Up" was pretty good, but the best ITV F1 theme was the Jamaroqui one from 1997, it gave F1 that feeling of the new era it was in being on ITV. The one used from 2000 to 2002 was absolute crap, it was stolen from a BBC advert for Wimbledon 2000 as well if I remember rightly.

But nothing will ever be as good as "The Chain". And I really hope the BBC do the right thing and bring back the good times with the tune. I mean you don't see them changing tunes for Match of the Day, Snooker or even their Cricket coverage.

Glad to see go:

- Magny Cours
- Ad breaks and general ITV staff
- Ridiculously ugly cars/aero parts, etc
- A general lack of relatively close racing
- Grooved tyres

Gonna miss:

- The Canadian GP
- DC, and Barichello if he ends up moving on

Im going to miss Magny Cours, im also going to miss the Moby - Lift Me Up theme tune, oh and DC.

Bring back the chain man.

here ya go:

I don't get it.

It's the chain men in American Football - they use a chain to determine whether the ball made it to the next down

I think it is going to be biased on any (UK) station. But I hope I am wrong.
