What happened to the assets of the Super aguri team?

The administrators auctioned them off - i can't remember the site name but you could have purchased one of the cars yourself! That is, if you had the cash...

Im sure there are a lot of teams that are wanting to join F1 but are waiting to see how F1 shapes in the next few years.

Prodrive couldn't compete because of customer cars being banned. Whether or not they'll try to ready themselves to try and enter Formula One again, I don't know. In terms of Super Aguri, they were spending a fair bit and Honda weren't prepared to keep supping them, so let the team go into administration. Their assets were sold off in the usual manner, and I think somebody interested in getting a Formula One team together considered buying them.

I knew what actually happened... I just wanted to know if anyone knew if Prodrive were going to go forward in 2009 or are they going to give up? I heard that there place on the grid may not be garenteed anyway, so are the FIA going to offer it to anyone else?

And Super Aguri's administraters said they were going to sell to someone with the intention of racing?

They used to have pre qualifying to weed out the amount of cars that exeeded 26. The remaining 26 participated in qualifying.

That would be a very good system. Imagine a balls up (in qualy) from a McLaren or Ferrari and they wouldn't be racing.
