This little 'battle of wits' between you and Longbow needs to be taken either to pm's or email. I cant speak for everyone but I know myself and al4x have asked this of you two once or twice already. Both of you need to growup alittle and 'agree to disagree' without ruining every thread you both post in.

you not being harsh Tex..... what i said this afternoon about calling a truce - I meant it. some people insist on taking a older or earlier posts and bringing it back. all i said was to give it a rest... which appears my stalker refuses to do. he will read this and once again will quote so that it can comment. It doesnt know when to quit !!!

My personal opinion - he's going to wanna prove he can win this race .... which may just lead to his downfall. I dont want him to win for obvious reasons but i know what they will be going through it being the last race and what is at stake. If he can keep that " I;m alone on the track" attitude in check and race for points he will be in business - I do think and actually expect him to stuff this one up as well.

You don't miss much on his gridwalks tbh, it's good to see but the drivers are trying to get themselves into race mode so i think it's quite understandable that most of them are like 'no comment'.

His history has shown that and there is nothing wrong with it yet I'm expecting a fluff at the first corner just like last year, I hope he proves me wrong which will show he has matured and does not have to lead every first corner or every lap. He has too much at stake to let history repeat itself.

ya well ..like i said earlier today ..... not gonna say too much cos mclaren has a real good chance of bagging this one..... but Kimi turned this same points difference around last time out.... so anything can happen. so to make certain at least my nose not gonna be rubbed in what i said............. I feel the best thing i should do in this case is shut up and wait for next sunday..... think i am going to log off and pop in to the casino and waste some bucks ... maybe even make some but that either here nor there.

Contrary to a lot of ppls beliefs I think he learns pretty fast fom his mistakes but there are a lot more drivers (almost every one except massa) who have a lot less to lose from a first corner incident so he's gonna have to be totally sure about where he goes. I'm not in any way saying anyone's out to get him but every other driver knows how important it is to Hamilton to get to the finish so he'll be pretty easy to push around.

I agree with you and I think and hope Lewis keep's his composuer at the start and during the first lap. It has been a very exciting season regardless of how the FIA acted, man I wish the race was this weekend.

What are the chances of LH being fuelled up heavily for qualifying and going longer in his first stint from the third, or maybe even second row if he canes it? I know he'll personally be loathed to do it and it might be a negative tactic which invites disaster in its own way but hey, he only needs to finish top 5. If he's behind Massa, KR and Alonso he can keep to himself, nurse the car around and come in top 4 or 5, maybe higher if others DNF?

It would also mean HK could show us his blistering race pace with a lighter fuel load.
