Should he look for a move elsewhere? Or hang on longer to see what Ross Brawn can do with Honda? Rubens is doing better than he is aswell so there is a chance Honda may seek someone else to partner Rubens.

Mind you would anyone want him if he left? After the whole Williams saga would he get a seat in anything other than a Force India?

If I was Button right now I'd be worried because Barrichello has totally outpaced him this season. And Bruno Senna has also earned himself a test drive when the season finishes, so if Button's not careful he might end up losing his seat if Senna shows great pace.

Barrichello and Senna would be a fitting duo, Rubens is now the most experienced driver of all time, he is Brazillian and also when he first made his debut back in 1993 the late Ayrton was his mentor.

But on the flip side Petrobras will probably end their relationship with Williams because rumour has it that Petrobras want to tie themselves to whatever team Bruno drives for. And Nick "Super Aguri killer" Fry is a suck up to Button and he'll probably do everything he can to keep Button onboard.

Barrichello's experience mean he's still definitely got a hell of a lot to give Formula One, but he is at the age when drivers should normally have lost some of their raw speed. Either Barrichello is completely defying his age or Button has just underperformed. He has been completely owned by Barrichello this season. Personally, I'm enjoying it. Button annoys me and I like Barrichello. He's the last link back the generation of when I began to watch Formula One, as I said, is a quality driver and I feel he has been given a raw deal in his career. The promise of Stewart came to very, very little, so he was forced to go to Ferrari to be Schumacher's tea boy. There aren't a whole lot of drivers as good as Barrichello is/was that don't have a title to their name.

Honda have the cash, and now the know-how to become a front running team. But it's been a few years since they were last doing well (remember button was 3rd in the WDC a few years ago). It's inevitable that they will get the formula right at some point, now just a question of when?! But IMHO Button is in the right place . . . unless McLaren of Ferrari decide to give him a drive . . . . which just wont happen!

I'm not sure if Honda will be ready to give him up yet because they've invested a hell of a lot in him and if they let him go that would be money wasted.

Jensons got the talent, proved it against schumacher. But this year It appears he hasnt got the motivation. we saw this after his first year at williams. He wasnt concentrating and had a bit of a dampner at the start of his Bennetton/Renault Sport carear after living the playboy lifestyle on the off season. Now at Honda he hasnt got a good car and hes not concentrating on F1, just other things like triathalons etc

james allen killed my liking of Button unfortunately but I agree..... like Kimi they should cool it with the nice times....screwing up their game. Honda is going to make their presence felt next season... watch that space

I cant see Honda getting podiums next year but hopefully hitting around the 30 - 40 pts total. with Senna it might be quite Interesting

I dont it possible to take it in one race mate :hehe: but yeah he will be back and better and hungrier than before. And im sure Renault will be back too, he will be a fool to leave. I dont think McLaren & Ferrari will be the only top teams in 2009. its going to be unpredictable.

unfortunately its cant.... but i think thats his intention. he want that crown and i bet he gonna run each race like its his last. What i would really like is for honda and braun to get in there and actually compete and its gonna happen. He did a lot for ferrari and things can only get better for honda from here on in

A lot of British drivers seem to be a bit like Button. Generally, they are reasonable to very good good drivers, but are always complaining about something and then switch off. Watson was a bit of a fuss pot, Coulthard is always complaining and has an axe to grind with somebody all of the time, and Button is no different. Yap, yap, yap.
