I agree. Touring cars are fun. F1 is mostly boring and getting more so.

I cant get on with Touring Cars, too slow for me.

At least the cars pass each other on the track.

Why are we pussyfooting about. This so called sport is so biased towards Ferrari. I actually thought after Hamilton got penalised yet again and went from 1st to 3rd, why T. F Mclaren don't just pull out of the championship and say to the sporting world, Eccleston and the FIA , there you go, Ferrai/FIA if you want it that bad....were out of here. That would then make the whole sport what it currently is...............a chuffing joke

I like motorsport in General, always watch the 24hrs of Le-mans (not all of it) Watch Gp2 and BTCC on and off i don't have satalite tho so its hard to get to watch it.

I go to Oulton park alot to watch whatever's on Classic F1, Formula 3, etc..

Things are not quite as simple as that. For a start, McLaren (and the other teams) have a contract to appear at all races in the season. Breaking that contract means Ecclestone can fine and sue you. Second, McLaren have commitments to their sponsors who pay many millions of pounds to fund the team. Again, if McLaren wanted to stop competing, they would have to pay back the money they received from the sponsors and/or be sued. Also, McLaren's core business is Formula One; the other companies in the McLaren Group are really satellite businesses. One team is not bigger than the sport. It would take virtually all of the teams to unite and challenge Ecclestone and the FIA before anything could be done.

This is my first post for a while and so I may be behind in that latest goings on in F1.

f***ing FIA, what are they doing to this sport

The FIA sees itself as the moderator of the sport that can do no wrong. I seriously think that Max believes that he is a sane member of society

James Allen is just as knowledgeable about F1 as Martin Brundle is. I liked him and I hope he gets a job working in the sport in some capacity. I might even start a petition to get him to co-commentate for Radio 5 live

FIA should have no hold over the BBC. They act in the interest of the British public and so if the public want Brundle then they better get him. Stopping freedom of the press is a tactic that all good communists employ to pull the wool over people eyes. I guess that apple doesn't fall far from the tree...
