It still bugs me that Alonso has made only references to wanting Massa to win because he doesn't want McLaren to win, but the point seems totally missed by every reporter :P

And he wants a seat at Ferrari.

he's a bloody brown noose.

"look at me Mr Domenicalli I want to drive you red cars, i hate Mclaren and i Really want Massa to Win can i drive your red cars pweeease"

what a utter muppet he is.

So he had a bad experience and took it personally, it's not a huge deal - we 'regular folk' do it constantly. The way he handled it was silly, yes, but are you saying that you'd feel jolly about it afterwards?

No but if i were alonso i'd just shut up and drive i honestly don't think Ferrari give a f*** that he hates Mclaren and Wants them to win it just makes him look more desperate and stupid.

He's asked questions you know, its not like he just comes out and says stuff. Thats like, the whole point of an interview... is to answer questions and give your opinion.

Yeh but he's asked questions based on comments he's made.

Q: When you said yesterday that you would help Felipe win the championship, was that a sort of sweet revenge for last season?
FA: I prefer to see a Ferrari win than a McLaren coming from last year no doubt. What I find surprising is that such a notion had such a repercussion everywhere. When I see a tennis match I prefer one player over the other, the same goes for a soccer match. And when I see a fight between a Ferrari and a McLaren I prefer the Ferrari to win and I don’t understand all that hype about it.

I believe that makes my point?

Right before he said he would help Felipe win the championship, he was probably aksed a question in an interview/press conference.

Renault’s Fernando Alonso has admitted he would prefer Ferrari’s Felipe Massa or BMW Sauber’s Robert Kubica win the 2008 title, rather than his former McLaren team mate Lewis Hamilton.

Speaking in Thursday’s press conference at the Chinese Grand Prix, Alonso was asked to clarify comments attributed to him by Spanish media in which he suggested he would do all he could to help Massa’s title bid.

Yeh but he admitted that, he gives snippets to the media to stirr up some crap to get attention so he can get a drive at ferrari i'm not saying he dosn't deserve it but just let your driving to the talking is what i'm saying.

Alonso in a ferrari ?? now that would be very interesting. I like the guy but dont think that would be such a great idea. He needs to have a non competitive wingman or the same craps gonna happen like with mclaren. Unfortunately thats the way he is but would like to see him in a ferrari. give that guy a good competitive car and he will really make people aware of his presence

Luca di Montezemolo always said he wants Alonso in Ferrari, the only one who says no was Jean Todt, and he's out.

The only reason about the renewal of Raikkonen and Massa is IN FACT that both used their privilege to extend one more year their contracts, it was not Ferrari's decission.

The upper management at Ferrari have said and I quote "There is no place for Alonso at Ferrari he is damaged goods".

Dang. I hadn't seen that quote.

Bob Varsha who is one of SPEED TV's commentator's has mentioned it twice and he got it straight from the horses mouth so to speak. Although this may be true at this current time we all know how quickly thing's change in F1 so who really knows?

Quite. Things change very quickly. supeindesu's post is also interesting. A couple of years from now and it might look completely alien from now in terms of drivers and teams.
