Best victory was surely Vettel at Monza, but Hamilton's drive in Britain was awesome as well.

Best drive is tough...i think Barichello's podium drive at Silverstone was brilliant so i'll go for that. Special mentions must go to Alonso for his brilliance in the final lap at Spa, and Sutil in Monaco.

The worst mistake was Hamilton crashing in the pits in Canada, that was really stupid. If team members can count then it was the Ferrari pit crew in Singapore. :hehe:

Best race? Britain.

I'm gonna have to agree that I find Vettel's win the best of the season for me.

The best win goes to Vettel. The Toro Rosso is probably the sixth best car (behind the McLarens, Ferraris, Renaults, BMW Saubers and Toyotas) yet Vettel stuck it on pole and drove superbly for the whole race to take victory. Definitely illustrating that what was going to be a podium in Fuji last year was not just a fluke.

The best drive, for me, has to be either Heidfeld or Barrichello at Silverstone. Barrichello because he put that dog of a Honda on the podium with an excellent strategy call and could've made it second had he not had that refuelling problem. Heidfeld because, well, he pulled off some brilliant moves to take second in that race ahead of some superior cars. :)

The most exciting race was either Monza for me. Hands down the race of the year.

The biggest mistake? I am tempted to say the pit lane incident in Canada, but I actually think that BMW Sauber not developing their car anymore after that race was, in hindsight, the biggest mistake of the season.

Vettel's drive might now have been the most amazing, but it was kind of a "feel good" win...You couldn't help but enjoy his victory, and seeing his face at the press conference, well, I caught myself smiling too.

Nice kid, he'll be great.

Vettel in monza without a shadow of a doubt.
Then perhaps Massa in Hungary, had he won it of course. Or Lewis in Hockenhim. I think they were equally good really.

Kubica's win was pretty special as well.

Best drive, hmm. Sutil in Monaco. I couldn't think of any for a second, then I remembered Sutil in monaco, what a drive that was. Too bad it ended in tears.

Best pole position I think is another good one. Probably Massa in Monaco, simply because it was the surprise of the year.

But I like this topic a lot. It's nice to look back at the positives from this year, instead of looking at what could of been.

I'd say there were a couple of guys there who were closer to Lewis than people seem to believe, but I do agree that nobody in a position to could come even close to Lewis on that day. It was a brilliant drive.
