its unlikely that mclaren will win this year. They concentrated on lewis too much this year and didnt really give the same attention to Kovi. Kovi isnt a bad driver but hes not that bad as to be behind both ferrari and BMW drivers + Fenando Alonso in the drivers champs...

2009 will be hit or miss for all the teams, so who knows when mclaren will have there next chance...

To be very honest - if they win it will be a hollow victory for them anyway. they been knocking on the door all this time and only after the spy saga they now really have a chance. while i am certainly not a merc mclaren fan I would let them have it. Ferrari needs to lose this one for they have screwed up Massa's chances so far this season. I feel it will give them the eye opner they need to address their s**t and come up with a superior set a cars next season. just a pity they had to lose against the mercs. I would have prefered Alonso to have taken it again this year. maybe will also help shut up these bitter mclaren guys here

You confuse me here. Who do you want to see win. Ferrari or McLaren? Seems like now you want McLaren to win. It is one or the other?

I'll be dammed if Ferrari do not win the constructors title from here and if Lewis Hamilton cant win the drivers title this time around with a 7 point lead, then he is really a crap driver.....

Shame ... hurts to admit the facts at work in this case doesnt it. You havent noticed - I couldnt care two hoots about the nitty gritty politics of F1 at all. only stating the facts. IF and thats a big IF merc manages to take the WDC this year imo you know what they did to accomplish it. So I really dont care if you like it or not. If you cant stand a little merc bashing based purely on facts then find another team to support - like renault or beemer. you could do worse
To AKR ... hi sweety ---- No me not want mclaren to win and you know very well i agree with your feeling on the complete issue. I do not like hamilton and feel for mclaren even less. My gripe where hamilton is concerned really not a personal thing just hate his s**t attitude and crap driving. All i am saying that sometimes losing can be a good thing. it certainly will make you stand up and do what is required to do better but once again I would have preferd that if they were to lose this one it would be ok it was to renault or beemer. sorry to disappoint you.

I am not at all disappointed. If Ferrari were to lose to any team other than McLaren, I wouldn't care all that much. In the case of 2006 I wasn't at all upset when Alonso the GREAT won the title and Renault the Constructors. In fact I was more concerned that Alosno and Renault had to win both titles in 2005 just so McLaren and their then driver Kimi Raikkonen wouldn't win anything. I have no sympaphy for any McLaren scum whatsoever.

probable fact: If mclaren takes 2008 WDC they will carry on knocking again for next 9 years

Maybe should change that post a little. best not to take note of em sometimes. they bitter people. prone to crack under pressure and start swearing and braking late and stuff that they should not be doing
