I dont care if Hamilton wins another 12 champs in 5 years time i just dont want him to win champs in his early years and besides Felipe deserves it and has been working hard to get up to this stage for years now and if it wasnt for stupid mishaps like the refuelling rig drama at Singapore or that engine blow in Valencia Massa would be way on track for his 1st world champ but if the championship goes down to Brazil i think Felipe would get the upper hand due to his determination to win his home gp to win the title and his mass support from his Brazilian fans.

Well I hope Lewis wins this one and lots more becuse he is more talented than Felippe and will have done it despite FIA intervention to his detriment. Yes Felipe has worked hard but this is F1 not an achievement assembly in a primary school. Prizes are not handed out to those who try hardest or deserve it, they go to the driver with the most points. Hopefully the best driver/car combination, but as you point out mechanical mishaps can intervene (to all parties) so can the FIA!

How does Massa deserve the title. I have to laugh all of these fools who want Massa to win the title, claiming Hamilton cruised into Formula One with the backing of McLaren and has been driving the best car in all of his short career. Well, what did Massa do to deserve his seat in Ferrari? The only reason he got a job in Formula One was because Sauber were Ferrari's B-team and because Nicolas Todt is his manager. At least Hamilton managed to meet all the criteria required to be a Formula One driver, although he still needs a little bit of experience. Massa, however, isn't even up to Formula One standard at the minute, despite this being his sixth season in Formula One. It's funny how you don't mention all of Massa's own gaffes. His driving last weekend ranks as one of most inept displays I've seen from a driver competing for the world championship. I also see you fail to mention all of the points gifted to Massa by the FIA. When you factor in them, Hamilton would have won the drivers' title today. If things go tits up for McLaren in a fortnight and Massa does go on and win the title, it will be a travesty for sport.

Massa is just a mediocre driver in a good car, Hamilton is an exceptional driver in a good car and he WILL win the World Chapionship this year.

I'd like to see how they'd both fare in something like a Force India - that would be an interesting challenge.

Late reply but I don't care. Just wanna make it clear that its really unfair to compare like that between Alonso and Lewis. Like hello Sir, Alonso have been in this formula one thingy for many years but Lewis - its just his 2nd year. So its really not fair to make comparisons JUST LIKE THAT.

2nd year in F1 - he's gonna win the title and became the youngest ever F1 driver to win the title? He will beat Alonso's record of being the youngest F1 driver to win a title and now, do you see clearly the reason why Alonso wants Massa to win the title INSTEAD OF Lewis?

Yes obviously being from the UK I want to see Lewis win the title, but I also want to see an exciting race unlike what we saw in China. I want to see the Mclarens, Ferrari's Toyota's and BMW's going for the win, China was boring IMHO, no overtaking at the front and Ferrari's well off the pace, here's fingers crossed for a belter one in Brazil.

Personally, I just didn't want to get involved in another 'FIA and Ferrari vs the rest of the teams' debate... there's enough of it going on with Mclaren right now... how is bitching about a (stupid, non-deserved, possibly biased) decision that's already been taken gonna help anything?
Toro Rosso themselves decided not to appeal, though they didn't and don't agree with the decision. While that's probably got a lot to do with where they get their engine from, its also the right decision - it would just be a waste of time and money because the appeal would get them nowhere and nothing would change.

I've been happy to see Alonso win a couple this season just for that reason. Infact it's been a good season all round with a good mix of winners.
