Would you be prepared to go to dinner with Ron Dennis if it meant Mclaren would have an off day tommrow?
Or even better that "hunk" Norbert
You sick, twisted man.

Mclaren are big on the technical side i expect they'll get the best KERS, BMW should do well also not sure about renault.
McLaren have always been good on the technical side, save when all the internal politicking was going and the big move to the Technology Centre on from 2001-2005. In the when McLaren were off form in the mid-1990s, the team still had the best facilities and the highest quality standards of the production. All of the electronics etc. were brilliant. The only problem was Honda giving up the ghost and, as a result, not getting a stable engine supplier, so the engineers didn't have the information they needed to design the chassis properly. The MP4-7, -8 and -9 were brilliant chassis. The electronics on those cars were far superior to those on Williams were using, so it just goes to show the difference that the quality of an engine can make or break a car.
Speaking of Nick, its funny listening to DC's radio, he said Nick's move on him in P2 was "the worst unsportsman like move he ever seen in his career", DC, there's no chance you will ever get to Q3 and lets not even talk about unsportsman like move with DC
DC is retiring and he was pretty good back in the day, and nick is in a BWM and he has trouble getting into Q3.
Although DC went abit far saying it was the worst it was pretty stupid.
Coulthard is a bit of a twat. He has always looked to blame somebody for his many failures. I, for one, am glad to see him leaving.

In terms of qualifying, Renault showed again that they've made steps forward in their performance. Well, Alonso showed that Renault have moved forward, whereas Piquet was comprehensively bested for the umpteenth time this season. Taxi for Piquet, please!

Webber did a great job and made Coulthard look a complete fool once again. Heidfeld or not Heidfeld, Coulthard was well off the pace. Enjoy your job at the BBC next year. I'll look forward to listening to your hard-luck stories then.

Barrichello had another great innings this weekend. He, too, destroyed his teammate. I could understand why Honda would look to replace Barrichello with a young, talented driver, but they aren't. None of the young guns are ready to make the step up to Formula One this season. Honda should stick with Barrichello for a while longer.
I think we all knew Williams were going to be terrible this weekend, but the onboard footage from their cars was shocking. I can't remember the last time I saw a car understeer so badly. That is truly appalling. I feel sorry for Rosberg and Nakajima. It's going to be a long afternoon come race day.

In terms of the championship battle, it looks as though Kubica is finished. His saving grace my be the weather forecast, however.
Hamilton's qualifying lap was great. I love how he just asks where is it he went wrong (he knew today anyway) and then bangs in a super lap. I suspect Raikkonen is heavier on the fuel, so it really shows how good a lap he put in today. The MP4-23 looks great around the circuit, however. From a technical point of view, I've found the last two seasons really interesting, for last season the advantages and disadvantages between the McLaren and Ferrari were pretty obvious and they've more or less faded away now, as both teams have produced better all-round cars. Still, there are some key differences between how the engine and chassis relate to one another. Kovalainen looked slower than Hamilton all weekend and seemed to come alive in qualifying, but I'm not too sure what happened in Q3. I doubt he has too much fuel on board, so it can't be that. Perhaps it was the particular set of tyres and/or fuel load upsetting the balance of the car. In any case, it's a bit of a bummer. Hamilton could do with a rear-gunner and the (official) constructors' title continues to ebb away. The only consolation is that Massa is third. Hopefully Hamilton keeps his cool tomorrow.
