I do like Renault tho

I've always had a soft sport for Renault as well, despite Fraudster Flavio being the helm. I don't know why. Perhaps it's because they've a low budget compared to the "big boys" and always over-achieve with it. It's no secret that Renault became involved in Formula One for marketing reasons, but they do have some Formula One history, so people don't have the same disregard for them as they would for, say, Toyota - a team I've come to love seeing fail, to be really honest.

Renault are the Buisiness mainly cause of the Old Bennetton days for me

Also if Hamilton is singing tht in his crash helmet... are u serious did he do tht?

BENETTON FOREVER

Woo Hoo..............go Lewis. How exciting was that.

...........poor Kovi. Don't think I've ever seen him that annoyed before :(

Oh Kovi, the best time for a hug ? :hehe:
Well Done Lewis! Great Lap, good job both Renaults, shame not to see Glock in the Top 10, also well done Nick, reds, and wow Toro Rosso, nice to see Bourdais more

Kovi said his tyres weren't working at all on the last lap and he was baffled about what had happened. Oh, and yes he was pissed off!

Lewis first, Kimi second - replay of Fuji start? :D

Lewis running away to clinch his title, with both Ferraris chasing him all the way and Massa desperate for points. Fun to watch I hope.

But with Kubica out of the first 10 I'm praying for a rain now! :(

Well its not surprising seeing Williams sucked again, but Bourdais looks like he's in for a good race with a heavy fuel load and being promoted a place thanks to Webber's penalty.

Heikki looked unusually annoyed - and rightly so. He had the pace to been on one of the front two rows today. It's a shame for him to have had problems in the final lap.

I'm also disappointed that Kubica struggled today, though delighted that Heidfeld is up there in the top ten (I think he's fifth after Webber's penalty?). Unfortunately, I don't think he'll be staying there after the DC incident. What DC said to Louise was a bit of a twat-ish thing to say, seeing as Heidfeld is one of the most sporting people in Formula 1 (not unlike himself, see the agreement between him and Mika at Australia), but Heidfeld maybe didn't have to do what he did.

Edit: There we have it. Heidfeld demoted three grid places, now residing in ninth place for tomorrow. Time for some of those double-overtaking moves you showed us at Silverstone, Quick Nick :)

Also, did anybody else notice that Raikkonen isn't running the shark-fin on his car, whereas Massa is?

Yeah I did too, but I'm not sure know how much of a difference in performance it has. Surely it would have some sort of advantage on the straights? I'd like to know what affect it has on the car, though.

He's leading for both the practice sessions
and thats AWESOME!

go go Lewis
and BOOOOOO to the evil man, ALONSO..

:rofl::hehe:

Alonso isn't evil, Alonso is great. Lewis Hamilton is the evil little prick. He needs to leave F1. McLaren although I don't like them deserve better drivers. Last season they had Alosno who is great, and they made him leave. I don't need to say more..........

Why don't you just keep your vile anti-mclaren banter to yourself eh?

you don't see us calling kimi or massa evil

We all saw Lewis as a rookie take the piss out of alonso so he had his chance and he blew it.

lets see what alonso does if he gets a ferrari drive and don't get the number 1 position.

I'm sure Ferrari will have plently of skeletons in their cupboards Alonso can tell the FIA about when he gets pissed off.

Listen Buddy, I am not the one who started this. Blame the one who said Alonso was evil. He knows who he is...........

And I don't think Lewis Hamilton is anything special. He has a good car. If Alonso had his McLaren, he to would be on pole for the Chinese GP. And in case you haven't noticed, this is more than anti-McLaren here. It is Anti-Lewis Hamilton. Last season I could stand Alosno at McLaren, but Lewis Hamilton. Need I say more................

Yeah its nice to see Renault back again, bring Benetton back baby :hehe::hehe:

:yikes:

Well, Renault are not French, and nor are they Italian. They're a British team in disguise. Chalk up another four titles for the most successful Formula One nation. :hehe:

The greatest nation in F1 is ITALY. Britain cant make a full car on their own. Williams was powered by Remault and Honda in their successive years. McLaren is really Kiwi and also powered in its successes by mainly Honda and Mercedes. No British there. Benetton was really Italian but based in England and that too was powered by a French engine and although you clain Renault (the team) which is that old Benetton team based in England, it's Engine is French and a true Renault. So what is British. Those Ford engines that won a few championships. Maybe but Ford is an American company so you wish. :hehe: Ferrari is all Italian. Even if their drivers and personell are not all Italian. But then again all F1 teams are "International" so who cares. And this statement isn't biased because it came from me. Remember where I was born and my cultural hertiage before you pounce on me. :D

Raikkonen will be a worthy champion in my eyes - if he takes Hamilton out

:hehe:

What he needs to do is hit Lewis and Felipe, collecting Fernando, Sebastian, Jarno, Sebastién, Nelson and Timo. Then Heikki will go on to win the race, with Robert second and Nick third. Then repeat in Brazil. :)

... :hehe:

Yeah, that's a little harsh.

Rubbish - don't you remember the years that Cosworth powered British cars destroyed Ferrari ?

This is what I am hoping. First corner take out Lewis Hamilton. If I were Domenicali I would enphisis that it is Kimi's duty to do so. And then the greatness of Alosno should ride shotgun for Massa to protect against any revenge that Kova wishes to undertake so Massa is virtually ensured the 10 points and a gain of 5 points in the lead!
