The FIA and Ecclestone have got what they wanted: a strong, but ultimately unsuccessful McLaren. That way their buddies in Maranello will walk off with the titles but the show will be sufficiently interesting for the masses.

jesus, you always sound like youve got a chip on your shoulder? did you get ran over by a ferrari when you were 2 or something? lighten up :brolly:

Yes, you're right. I do have a chip on my shoulder. I want to watch motorsport not politics. If I wanted to watch politics, I would watch the Politics Show, not Grand Prix racing. I don't know why you're getting all wrinkled about , in my view anyway. It was only two years ago the FIA almost raped Renault out of both world championships.

Paranoid much?

Go and enjoy your hollow victories. The people who appreciate sportsmanship all know who the real champions were in 1999, last season, and probably this season.

Ahhhh but they didnt! dont worry, I hate the politics of it all too. But then again the sport is riddled with cheats and thats where F1 just becomes one big mess. It needs a fresh start and a new administration who see from the fans view and not the financial view

back on topic. Its been one hell of a year for racing. 2006, 2007 & 2008 have been the best years for a long time since, maybe 1996. Maybe because from then they started changing the rules (grove tyres, standard parts and specs and of course moving to ITV :hehe: )

Yes we all know who the winners of 1999 and 2007 were. Hangon I just got a mental blank. I'll quickly go look it up. The winners in 1999 and 2007 it says were FERRARI. So it looks like we all know who the real winners were back then.:thumbup::D
