On Saturday I am doing a 12 hour polejam with 10 others girls. Its from 10 in the morning till ten at night and one of us has to be working the pole at all times. We practised tonight and one dance track was completely nackering! We reckon we'll have to do a dance track about every half hour Well anyway its all in a good cause and so far ive got about £200 sponsorship. This is the sort of thing we will be doing, its from tonights practise.

Wish me luck! Its at the local cricket club and people will be coming in to watch so its a bit scary. Large glass of wine will be required...or two....or three

Its not, believe me. I'll have to put in lots of linking moves(Wiggley dance bits) they dont use up so much energy!

Do you have to keep doing the moves upside down? Do you get a break at all?
I wouldn't even try It - i've cost the NHS enough money as it is.

But mind you that is a very good cause you are doing it for.

No you dont have to stay upside down. There are upside down bits-and theyre hard,loads i still cant do. Climbing-but thats ususally to get into another position. Swings-different ways of swinging around it I guess and linking moves. There are hundreds and hundreds of moves all with names that i can never remember!

Me in the picture, and Nikki as well in one of them. Upside down cos thats the hardest bit so needs practising if falling on heads is to be avoided on sat night. No Al's Ewman, just Nikki and Anna
