Does all this come down to the fact that Ferrari is going to win the constructor's championship again?
I was wondering because it's not in the bag yet is it? I mean we still have two races to go. It seems to me that Ferrari won last year because their nearest competitor had their points stripped due to illegal activities. Is that Ferrari's fault? This year, if we pull it off again, I would have to say it is because Heikki has not been getting near the results he should be in a car that is clearly superior. Also not Ferrari's problem.
I'm new to these forums and I was attracted by the fact that most people posting seem to know a lot about the sport in general, but as the season draws to a close all I'm seeing are angry McLaren fans looking for someone to blame for their disappointing results of late. This has been one of the most exciting seasons in a long time, I would say whoever wins the championship has more than earned it.
This forum is going to get pretty boring in a hurry if it's just going to be a McLaren pity party every week...
If Ferrari win one or both titles because they are the stronger team, then that's fair enough in my book. McLaren will just have to try better next time. What we are seeing at the minute is the governing body backing Ferrari and acting to the detriment of McLaren.
