It must be hard to read with horse blinders on. The Governing body of F1 claimed after the Spa penalty that "the racing surface was defined by the area between the painted lines and that any advantage gained by driving outside this area will be penalized." Massa was not just over the Pit exit blend line but he also had all 4 wheels over the area painted red. Wich by their own definition is not considered the "racing surface".
Don't take me as a Massa Hater I like him, he's one of my favorite drivers, But the inconsistencies with the penalties, and how the rules seem to change on a weekly basis, is ruining what would otherwise be an incredible season.
Give an example of when its been punished before.
As far as I can remember, there's been similar moves that have gone without punishment, simply because there was dangerous incident involved. Its always been fine to use the end of the pitlane.
