Ratings are up, ticket sales are up, everyone is glued to this soap opera, F1 must be doing something right. Fact is if you don't like it , use your power on your finger tip and push the off button on your remote.

Yup!

I just hate being right  . I am just tired of people complaining about F1 and threatened to stop watching yet they are back on this forum in a week or two after each race blah blah blah about what they saw on tv. Fact is, F1 hasn't been this entertaining (after all its only entertainment so don't live your life by it) in years and everyone is glued to this train wreck coming in the next two races.

Its not quite that simple is it. It is highly frustrating to have the sport you love governed and spoilt by imbeciles, but to stop watching is not the answer. What people want is to continue to watch the sport but without over political intervention and draconian penalties issuued with no logical reason. The FIA need to go and an impartial body set up to take its place and run on a professional and accountable basis.

It is quite simple. F1 or any other sports that makes $$$ is a business and it will always and have been governed by so kind of body, F1, Boxing, Football, Soccer, Tennis, etc.. Its about making the sports entertaining so the mass can spend as much $$$ as possible, it is the job of the governing body to put the best package on tv for ratings, commercials, endorsements, branding, which all equals to lining up $$ in their checking accounts. This is not a CHRISTAIN League and if you think it is or will be then you are on the wrong planet. It is what it is and its not gonna change because some poor sap decides to put up a petition, they can care less if you stop watching because at the current rate, its more popular then ever before, so turn off you TV if you keep on b*tching.

I wasnt suggesting putting up a petition, Max Mosley has just demonstrated that he is not removable. The system is corrupt and that is why it makes millions of $$$s. Screwing people over is not moral and is not a sport and is not a good show. Joe public who turn on the tv every Sunday, watch a race and thats it, are unaware of the depths to which F1 has sunk. I know Max and Bernie couldnt care less if true fans stop watching, thats blatantly obvious. Doesnt make what they do right tho.
Not sure what your CHRISTIAN reference is all about :confused:

 Funny how most people are complaining about the weekend's events.

It is becoming like professional wrestling: brilliant to watch but you have a pretty good idea who is going to win, no matter what happens throughout.

These latest penalties mean that for me F1 is descending into a joke. And they ruined what was a pretty damn good race in my opinion.
