Hamilton is a great driver already but I think he will improve as he gains more experience and when he starts to respect other drivers.

I fear with more experience he'll actually get less respectful toward the others. I hope I'm wrong, but that is the way I see him; this season he is much more pushy and bullying then he was last season anyway...

hes definitly got a nasty side, doesnt like being told what to do, last year and this

but everyone jumped on fernando's case then, this year with the nice, quiet heikki its more obvious too all

Lewis is just young and hungry with the weight of last season on his shoulder's but that was only his first season. Lewis will be imho a WDC when his mentality catch's up to his skill but until then it seem's he has listened too but not heard what I'm sure has been drilled into his head since last year. Dare I say I still think he need's to drop the old man, dad, and get a real manager/coach.

We agree on the old man completely. They showed him after Saturday's qualifying, parading around in his smart suit, nose high like a little Napoleon... he might be good and dedicated father, but as F1 manager he's a joke. Bad one, too.

Heidfeld: Lewis has yet to learn his lesson

Racechick: Heidfeld has yet to learn to qualify

Take his qualifying results from a year that he had a car that suited his style and you'll see that he's more than capable. He even managed to qualify on the front row last year, despite being in a car that was further away from the McLaren and Ferrari than this year's car was. This year's BMW Sauber is completely unsuited to his driving style, so of course he's going to struggle!

I honestly see your retort here as childish. Heidfeld's comments are completely valid. Last year, Lewis through the championship away by trying to win in Brazil when he could have just followed Alonso home. All he had to do was finish third in this race and he would have been fine. He lost his head and tried to get in front when it wasn't necessary. I'm sorry, but this time it isn't unfair criticism of 'your guy'. It's just a guy with a valid comment telling it how it is. Of course, nobody's opinion is allowed to be valid when they're not saying nice things about Lewis, regardless of whether or not they're true...

 Nick beat Mark Webber, a brilliant qualifier to pole at the Nurburgring in 2005, so he most definitely can qualify. He could also win a championship if the car allows him to. If BMW get the car right next year, then both Nick and Robert could win the title.

Even with bad qualifying performances this year, Nick has still followed Robert home closely on a few occasions this year despite being several grid places behind him.

Yes I know! See the answer I posted above!

It is absolutely stupid to attack Nick for valid comments regarding LH. Other drivers, including Kubica have complained about LH's driving style (RD told Robert to mind his own business) and they have every right to because unlike RD, they are sharing the track doing close to 180mph with LH and their lives depend on each other. Before the Japan GP Kubica said LH is too aggressive when not necessary, RD's respond?? typical McLaren respond trying to make it unvalid, he called Robert "rubbish" and that he should mind his own business. I bet you there was a HUGE grind under Robert's helmet as he passed LH in the first corner. It was a good weekend for those that hates the ROBOT.
