you cannot get penalised for having a "bad attitude" can you

Not "bad attitude" but more like brain fart and stupidity.

You cannot get penalised for "brain farts" either mate

Simple fact is we all know Lewis duck up, yes we know he should have played it safer, but what im pissed off about, and what most are pissed off about is that he was given yet ANOTHER dubious penalty. He would have to be leading the standings in the penalty stakes this year surely?
Braking late for the first corner IS racing of course sometimes guys outbrake the corner and go wide but please go and re watch every race in the last decade and tell me there was not similar first corner incidents with no penalties handed out. I guarantee youll find plenty

That's twice now this season Lewis has ruined Kimi's race because he was driving like a t!t, first he can't read a traffic light signal and 2nd he can't brake for a corner, he deserved everything he got and he's only got himself to blame if he doesn't win the title...

I see. You make two errors and "you only have yourself to blame" if you don't win the title. Well that doesnt leave many drivers on the grid who Wont have themselves to blame . Nope cant think of one. Kimis race wasnt ruined by Lewis but Lewis's was by Massa. He didnt deserve what he got, over cooking the first corner happens regularly as has been pointed out but only now does it become a penalty inducing incident.
Lewis incidentally does blame himself for that lock up but if he loses the championship we all know who will be to blame for that dont we

I would like to see what the drivers say after viewing it. I think Heikki will change his mind after he has a chance to see what happened, but as a good teammate he will never say so. Kimi was clearly going to get the holeshot until hamilton lost control and forced everyone wide. Just because Kimi was able to avoid him by going off track and losing several places doesn't mean hamilton was not wrong. I think Kimi should have stayed on track and let hamilton take them both out of the race. hamilton was clearly in panic mode after he boffed the start and overshot anything resembling a braking point.

Massa's move...well that was pretty pushy too. He deserved his penalty for treating hamilton in the same way that hamilton always treats everyone else. We have all seen hamilton push other drivers off the track, even on the straights and its about time someone starting pushing back. Which I predicted would happen a few weeks ago.

That was a fun race to watch. I hope China is equally enjoyable...maybe this time Massa and hamilton can have a head on collision!

lol My respect for Raikkonen has actually grew over the last few months. The guy obviously still has bursts of talent and he's been coming out with some crackers in terms of criticism ever since Canada.

Oh yeah? Have you asked MS about that? Parking in Monte Carlo?

That's completely different. Schumacher is renowned for being prepared to bend the rules, shall we say, to win. At Monte Carlo he realised he was not fast enough and decided to block the lap so Alonso could not do his flying lap properly. A cunning and calculating plan if ever there was one. Hamilton's actions at the weekend were unnecessary and slightly stupid, but were not motivated by malice or the desire to cheat.

I would like to see what the drivers say after viewing it.

To be honest, I would not. Not after how they got on last time.

I think Heikki will change his mind after he has a chance to see what happened, but as a good teammate he will never say so.

For me, Hamilton got penalised for the wrong thing. He out-braked himself and others had to avoid him, yes, but we've seen this all before. What he did was almost fly straight into Kovalainen! At the speed they were going, that could have been a nasty accident which would have ruined his own title hopes and McLaren's constructors' title chances. A fine would have been more appropriate than a drive-through penalty, especially around a place like Fuji where the pit-lane is so long, but the smallest punishment the stewards could give was a drive-through penalty, so they had no choice but to give it if they were going to give something.

I'm a McLaren guy, but sheesh...Hamilton drove like an idiot. I was like "Yay Hamilton!", and then immediately "What the..?!?! You fool!" My 11 year-old son was laughing all the time, him being a Ferrari fan.

Huh? They wouldn't have gotten any points after such a crash scenario and you claim that would have ruined his own title hopes and McLaren's constructors' title chances??? As it is, McLaren didn't score any points anyway...

Indeed, but we only know this with hindsight.

I know. But what I'm asking is do you feel that his and McLaren's title chances are ruined? That would be the logical conclusion from your statement above...

It's still "game on" in the drivers' title, but I see that as the consolation prize. The title I care most for is the constructors' title and for McLaren to win it officially is going to take something dramatic to happen. Hamilton can sometimes crack under pressure and McLaren can't rely on Kovalainen to put in a good race. In fact, if Alonso or another top-class driver was at the team, the constructors' title would have been over long ago. I know it's too early to say, but it's sad that all the work of the guys in the factory could be be ruined because of driver incompetence and FIA handouts to Ferrari. :(

Thinking about it, he's actually damn lucky they have those concrete run off areas everywhere now, otherwise the other guys wouldn't have so readily dove and off the track and out the way... then people wouldn't be trying to make out that it was a clean move.

Still doesn't make it right though, and Massa's been listening to Schumacher too much anyway methinks. :P
