I agree witht he penalty for Hamilton today, that was deserved, but to penalise Bourdais was aan absoloute joke and its making me mad even talking/typing about it.

I'm reserving judgement on Bourdais' penalty until I see more detailed videos. I want to see who moved into who.

Todt has all the credentials, no doubt, but he's a Ferrari man. I know we've disagreed on this, so there is no point in raking up old ground.

If the FIA keeps on getting worse, will you eventually change your mind?

Even if he's a Ferrari man, surely you'd admit that he could never be described as "amateur hour".

That's kind of what he meant. Todt has a very good CV. Nobody can deny that. The FIA has a big image problem at the minute. At best, people see them as completely incapable of running the sport, and at worse think they are in Ferrari's back pocket. Even if Todt executed his job free from bias, the public perception would be that his appointment was to keep the status quo, i.e. help Ferrari. That is not good for Formula One as a whole. I think there are people who are also very qualified - some of whom have driving experience, it has to be said - and could do a great job of running the FIA and not considered to be partial towards one team or another.

Yes, we need someone who is truly dedicated to racing and a true professional running the FIA. And who better than Jean Todt.

Jean Todt would be crap! he's a slimey toad and loves Ferrari!!

I am getting tired of the blatant bias towards Ferrari there is at the moment the teams should definately break away and form their own series and get someone who actually knows to govern it.

Ideally, I would like to see a reformed FIA running the sport. However, I've been saying this for years and the FIA is actually getting worse if anything. In the current climate, I would love to see the teams gang together to challenge the FIA (and Ecclestone) or threaten a breakaway series.

first of all they need to get rid of the amateur component of the way they run things they have to make stewards and other personnel accountable for their actions and decisions!

ultimately F1 needs to drop this Euro trash image and get a multi national group respnsible for the running and rulings of the sport but if ultimately a nation needs to be in charge then i say the USA has the right people who know how to run a sport with no corruption and favouritisim just look at their national leagues for the NBA NFL and the major league!

YAWN!

We have heard this all before

How about another POLL of who is tired of hearing this crap :D ? Hey I'm tifosi but I want a fair battle yet the FIA or whoever the council is who one want's to blame is at fault not Ferrari. Would the pot be calling the kettle black if the table's were turned? I seriously doubt it.
