wake up guys its racing..... the hole shot for the first corner is all about positioning yourself that means late braking.
How many times have we seen guys overshoot going off or causing other guys to go off with not even a second look from fans or f***stewards alike?
What Lewis did was normal and did not deserve a penalty of any kind! he did not even hit anyone FFS

then Felipe kamakaze massa drives like a maniac and ends up with 2 points now! that is

How you can not see anything wrong with Hamiltons start and then say Felipe drove like a kamikaze maniac is beyond me. The only reason Hamilton didn't cause more mayhem in the first corner is because Kimi got out of his way instead of turning into the corner.

Even Kubica who, compared to Hamilton, took the corner extremely carefull said had someone taken the apex he would have crashed into him and that would have been his fault.

I always sleep well when Ferrari does well or better than McLaren. Thus I can sleep well tonight. When Lewis Hamilton wins I get nighmares. Now at least tonight I will not get any nightmares. Hamilton's move may have been clean, but it could have been disastrous - he was locked-up, and was therefore out of control at 180mph - had he needed to avoid someone he would have had to come off the brakes and would have undoubtedly ploughed into his competitors/the barriers. Luckily for him, he was able to keep his foot in, meaning the only casualties were his reputation, tyres and race strategy. However, he still forced other cars to take avoiding action, and probably cost Raikkonen an easy win.

Hamilton is a fantastic driver, but he needs to keep his head - at least he admitted the mistake following the race, I suppose that's some progress. I don't support Lewis, but would hate to see him throw away another Championship - he's better than that.

Hey, did anyone actually watch the "incident". I have studied it in slow-mo and Lewis was nowhere near Kimi who had turned away to the left well before the corner. In fact it was Kovalinen who pushed Kimi off the track.

You're right...Lewis's "hole shot" into the 1st corner is about positioning.

What i totally disagree on is that Raikonen SHOULD HAVE just turned in and take him out of the race! so Massa would have won the race!

...but then again, if that really happened, Lewis fans like yourself would have said Ferrari had dirty tactics and had planned to take lewis out of the at the first corner.

So Ferrari fans out there, we can never win too.
