I agree completely with this! the one thing I liked about F1 in the 80's, and to an extent the VERY early 90's was that drivers could potentially win races in any of the top six teams or so. This let the viewer see the skill of the driver and not just the cost / skill of the car. This season has been a huge breath of fresh air as we've seen (throughout the season and not necessarily consistently) the skill of Alonso, Hamilton, Massa, Vettel, Kubica, and to an extent Raikkonen plus a couple more. (I've not included Kovalainen as his win was inherited). Wins coming from a car such as Torro Rosso, or even a car such as BMW would have been unheard of only four or five years ago, now as was mentioned during the race commentary, we're not even surprised to see a Torro Rosso at the sharp end! Long may it continue, and hopefully with the aero changes next year, a couple more can join them!!
renault are aalmost, so close, to where they should be, winning!
Its so cool to see more than 2 teams winning. I hope its a 4-way fight between Ferrari, McLaren, BMW, and Renault next year for the constructors!

Favourite racing series: F1, Indycar, NASCAR, GP2, F3, Formula E, Trophee Andros, DTM, WTCC, BTCC, World Endurance... etc. etc.

Remember I was more concerned when it was Renault Vs McLaren for the 2005 titles than the Ferrari Vs Renault challenge of 2006. In fact as I remember I celebrated Renault's and Alonso's 2005 titles with a big smile on my face. The 2006 loss of Ferrari to Renault didn't phase me at all.
