"I am not too worried," 'RTL' quoted Schumacher, 31, as saying, "because I think that I will move forward from the problems that I am having. Only then will I speak to the team (about 2008)," he added.

Ralf Schumacher recently declared that he considered himself as one of the top three drivers in F1, explaining that if he did not believe so, he would simply have to retire.

BS from RS I say. You better watch your bottom buddy or you'll find yourself circling around the tracks as an unpaid Spyker driver

The problem with Ralf is he can't seem to put a whole season together, and he dropped a bollock when signing for Toyota. The fact he wants to stay racing for a team that does nothing but under perform must be because he knows that no one else will take him on!

But given their budget, their resources, his salary at the time - it was a no brainer. I still think he's no better than Fisichella, and nowhere as good as his older brother.

Absolutely, it's only with hindsight (that marvellous magical thing!) that I can say that Ralf made a mistake by going to Toyota, given their track record in almost all other forms of motor sport and their budget I think anyone would have considered signing for them and personally I'm quite surprised that they aren't winning races yet. But for both Ralf and Jarno, I think they'll never get a drive anywhere else now.

Ralf's past it now, he has been for some time since he joined Toyota.

Top three. Mm.

So, like, why doesn't he drive for a top two team? Or at least, a team that has EVER been top two.

I'm just waiting for Piquet Jr. to come out and call him an "uneducated blockhead" :P

I have no idea what Ralf was thinking when he said that but I'll have a pint of whatever he's had.
